#FaithBeyondDeath
“``Their language was wise and noble. They knew that though they fell in the conflict, they would be more than conquerors, and that though they lost through dying, they would obtain immortal life. Why? Abraham and his fellow heirs of the same promise said that they declared plainly that they sought a country even in heavenly. And David had said, thou shalt guide me with thy counsel and afterward lead me to glory. Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego acted upon this belief, and they must act upon it because they endured seeing him who was invisible. What was Nebuchadnezzar compared with the almighty god? What was his furnace compared with the lake that burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death? What could they gain by complying compared with what they would forever lose? And what could they lose by refusing compared with what they would forever gain? Eternal life.”

#FaithJustifies
“Their declaration before king Nebuchadnezzar that they would not serve his gods or worship the golden image he set up was based on the truth that to have a sure hope in the eternal god requires justification by faith. For by faith alone, we have access to the grace of god whereby we can stand, and we can rejoice in the hope of the glory of God, and we can be confident and rest on the assurance that through the favor of God, our future inheritance is a sure inheritance and foundation. As these three declare their confidence in the eternal hope, the character, and the power of god, Can you? If you do not have such assurance, the only way that can change is for you to call upon the name of the Lord. For with the Lord, there is mercy, and with him, there is plenteous redemption.”

#GloryBeyondSuffering
“We reckon, they said, as did the apostle, the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which will be revealed in us. They trusted in the hope that God has set before us. Death was not a problem. But yet, how many people fear death? They fear it because they have no hope beyond it. Our faith must rightly regard the future or we will be perplexed and vanquished. Moses chose to suffer affliction with the people of God rather than enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season. Because he had his eyes on that recompense, the eternal recompense and reward. we believe this and realize or act upon it, it explains everything. It indemnifies all. It glorifies all.”

#HopeBeyondDeath
“What? Would they refuse even if death was the consequence? This shows undeniably they did not consider death as annihilation as is taught in the world today. They would not have acted had they believed that there was nothing beyond the grave. If that was the case, had they perished in the furnace, their martyrdom would have been not have been a duty. It would have been the sacrifice of fools, and the end would have been madness. The apostle Paul tells us if in this life only we have hope, we are of all men most miserable. We must consider beyond this life. Otherwise, it's doom.”
