#PlantedByGrace
“``And the farmer in all the parables, Jesus, tells us parables, but on this one, he takes the time brings the people to his to the to the house and explains to them what it means. And the farmer here is the son of man. Who is the son of man? It refers to Jesus. That's the farmer. He has planted something in your life by grace. Listen. It's by grace. It's by grace you've been planted. How many of you decided before you were created, I'm gonna be born in this couple? Nobody none of us. It was by grace. By grace that we are here, we were planted by grace, and by grace, it continues to provide for us everything we need.”

#NourishYourRoots
“Roots is what he wants to nourish us today. Every time you hear your word, your roots are being soaked into that. That we live in water. They live in water. Every time you come and eat the Lord's Supper, you've been nourished by the body and blood of our Lord Jesus Christ. So I pray that you will listen to what God is saying. What roots are you feeling? What is choking your life right now?”

#ChokedByDistractions
“And I'm trying to make sense out of this bad reality. It doesn't make sense why the farmer decides to plant us, why he decides to plant the seed in us. Notice that that the plant doesn't become better or stronger when it decides to be stronger. The plant the seed is planted by God's grace, and it grows by God's grace. But there are sometimes that we get things the weeds around us to choke us. get distracted with things. We get we let things around the phone. I mean, if I there's one thing I need to confess, it's the phone that's choking me right now. It's choking our culture.”

#NourishYourSeed
“Did you did you do you like your workers to to suffer? Do you like your kids to suffer? Do you like your grandpa, your grand your mom too, and your family to suffer? I don't think so. And you you probably had good intentions and and I'm sure that you have an idea. But instead of dreaming of the things you don't have, why don't you just focus right here on what you have? The seed that has been planted in you, how is that seed being nourished in your life?”
65s
#EternalPerspective
“For the young people who are here, consider what you're doing right now. Are you really satisfied what you do? What if tomorrow you cannot move from your bed? You cannot get up? Today, tomorrow, and after Christ promised to be with you throughout eternity. In that day, when we see him face to face, There were no there will not be any weeds or any distractions in life. He will joy the joy will be complete. The faith will be materialized. The hope will be in our face.”

#GraceProvides
“That's the farmer. He has planted something in your life by grace. Listen. It's by grace. It's by grace you've been planted. How many of you decided before you were created, I'm gonna be born in this couple? Nobody none of us. It was by grace. By grace that we are here, we were planted by grace, and by grace, it continues to provide for us everything we need. And sometimes what we need is not what we use. We use other things other than the things we are intended to use.”
37s
#InvestInTheField
“How much time do we spend in the fields of this world? And I'm not trying to put a guilty conscious here, but I'm trying to make bring a reality point. Because if we let the phone, we let the things of this world choke us, believe me, you are not gonna produce much, and you're gonna be discouraged. And you're gonna go to church just like another day at church, mom. I just wanna stay here.”
37s
#PurposeBeyondTrophies
“So as as we grow, we need to be aware of what really are we here for. What are you here for? Is it to win trophies? What if you don't win those trophies? Is it to run? What if you cannot run? Your your ankle got messed up or your or your hip get is out of place. Is it to be a farmer? What if you get blind? If if you are here to do those things and you cannot do those, so I guess the farmer was wrong.”
63s
#SunForGrowth
“So we put them inside the plant, and we put inside the door, and, like, the mother in laws, like, they know everything. She comes over and and and and says, what happened to that plant? So what what's wrong with that? That thing is almost dying. Why don't you take it out? And I go, here, you see my mother-in-law. She just wanna do everything here. It's like, okay. Gladys she said, why don't you just take it out? Okay. I'm gonna take it out. Lo and behold, that beautiful plant flourishes real beautiful. Three colors that I never thought we had in there. The plant that needed the sun. How many of you need the sun today? We all need the sun. We all need to be exposed to the sun. And unless you get this, you cannot see the sun because you will live in darkness.”
68s
#RootedInLight
“You can have good intentions. You can try to do everything, but if you are not in the light, you are in the darkness. That's that's how it is. So I pray that this week, there is one word I want you to remember, roots. Say it with me. Roots. Roots. Not roots like me by my accent, but roots, r o o t s, roots. Because roots is is what is what what you see under is what is really bringing the nourish the flourishing of the outside. What roots are you planting right now in your own life? If it's only the roots was worse, young kids' activities, high school, and it's good, but those roots are those moments, those activities are to bring this fruit, this harvest. So your friends might not do this for the rest of their life. Right? So your friends can can have this light.”
72s
#WhatIsChokingYou
“Bow your head and and think about what is in your life right now. What is choking your life right now? What doubts? What fears? What is distracting you from the harvest that is coming ahead? Are you literally looking at the harvest or you're looking at your own harvest? Jesus, what are you trying to do in us? May our ears not only hear, but be pleased and do your will.”
43s
#HarvestThroughService
“And and Jesus is beautiful enough because I'm not educated. He's not gonna say, well, come over here, all the scientists. Well done. Come over here, all the engineers. Well done. Come over here, all the farmers. Come over here. You you you go, boy and girl. That's not the harvest. He uses that, whatever you're doing right now, to produce the harvest, the real harvest. In fact, I see some of the harvest reproducing. When when you're working and you bring someone alone, that is what it's supposed to be all about.”
79s
#AlignWithTheFarmer
“But what if you were to plant and and work on that seed for a long time and never never get a harvest? Or maybe what if it produces the harvest that you didn't want at all? Wait a minute. What is this doing here? Kids, young adults, older adults. Sometimes what we think the harvest is is not what it is. You think that your harvest is producing more so you can run faster, you can be a good cheerleader, you can be in the sports, that is not the harvest. Or for for young adults, maybe thirties and and and twenties, you think that putting a name out there is your harvest. It's where you get the what what you needed. At 52, I'm telling you, it's not what you need. So what is that you need right now is is look at the farmer, what he planted, and why he planted that for you. Be aligned be aligned with the farmer.”
29s
#IntentionsArentEnough
“How many times have we done the wrong thing and we just didn't realize it's the wrong thing? How many times have you had good intentions, and then still good intentions doesn't take you anywhere? I mean, you have good intentions with your kids. Right? You you have good intentions, but sometimes, as parents, we have to admit we had not done everything right. Because, first of all, nobody give us a manual for this.”
58s
#FocusOnYourCalling
“And I see people here. It's not about you getting another trophy or another diploma or get faster and stronger. Because if there is one thing we know as we get older is we get weaker. Right? As we get older in fact, we don't wanna get weak. I mean, nobody wants to admit we are weaker than before. But when I'm in the gym, I can tell I'm weaker. When I'm lifting up I'm not gonna say it the way, but when I'm lifting up, I can feel my joints messing up. And then I go like, nobody's watching right. Focus on what the farmer has planted in you.”
54s
#TrustTheHarvestProcess
“There's much much that you can imagine. There's gonna be a harvest one day. There's gonna be a time when when there's a harvest. I mean, what a wonderful way to for a person who's leading us, Christ be our leader. Remember when we were praying singing that before the sermon? That your leader is telling you what's gonna happen and how it's gonna happen. Everything is right here. Doesn't have all the commas and and the points or exclamations, but it has enough for you to know that what's gonna happen. And today, we read that it's gonna be a harvest in our lives. There's a time that when when when the when the goose seed will go to one place and the best seed is gonna go to another one. And it's scary how describes that.”
63s
#RightNutrientsMatter
“I like plants. I like stuff like that. I'm not a hog trigger. No. Hogger. A tree hogger. I like when they're, you know, the the blossom. I like the trees, the shade that it provides. But I went to first, I Google. I Google what I should get to feed the plant. And I I Google it, and it says, go get this at Lowe's Lowe's or Home Depot. So I went to Lowe's and got this this fertilizer. It's a little stick that you put next to the plant, and the plant will apparently, it's gonna provide some food for it, some nutrients. And I got it. And I put it in there, and the first day, well, everything looked beautiful. The second day, there was nothing. It died. I got the wrong fertilizer for that thing. I had good intentions, bad ways to do it.”
65s
#SpendTimeInTheField
“there are things in our lives that is choking us, choking the wheat that is trying to produce the harvest. In here at church, we're trying to do the best. We provide bible studies. We have done more bible studies than ever. We know you got all the ages. And then what about your personal life? I hope you don't say that, oh, I'm watering my seed with porridge of prayer or with the magazine, Christian magazine that I watch, or this evangelist on online that I watch. How about you are not saying that? Because farmers, how many times how many hours you spend in your fields? Give me a number. A day? A week? Can you say eighty? Eighty hours in the fields? Listen to a farmer. Eighty hours in the fields.”
37s
#DontJustHearDo
“But what he's saying here is that you can hear and be happy about it, and nothing is gonna happen in your life. Nothing's gonna change. Why? Because there's a lot of things that are choking. Oh, I gotta go, pastor. My dinner is waiting. Oh, my lunch is going. Pastor, you don't know what I'm going through. I'm I'm almost there. I'm almost dying. It's not there. We're not there yet. And there's a lot of work to be done.”
26s
#DontRomanticizeWeeds
“They got choked by the wits of this world. It was growing together, and they kinda like this weed. You know? They kinda kinda kinda romanticize with this weed, and and they like the weed. Sometimes we don't even don't even know you know, if you are ignorant, you don't know what kind of weed this is, and you think it's good.”
