“There is no way I'm going to be good at what I do or in my service without you by my side. We are indispensable, he says. Indispensable. Can't do without you. So we I call this a piece of the puzzle. Think about it. You have a thousand pieces of puzzle, those of you who like doing puzzles, and you start putting it together, and you got nine nine nine of them. 999 of the pieces done, and you can't find one. And it's missing. And you do everything you can, and you can't find it. But you decide, you know what? I'm gonna put it up until I find that. Somebody walks into your house and looks, guess what they see? The first part they see is the missing piece. So you, me, we're all needed in God's service.”

“He's not just saying, come, you already gifted. He's saying, desire to have the greater gifts. You know what the greater gift is? Love. The greater gift is that gift that God is giving you to be in ministry a or b or c or a b c. But is the greater part of it is how you present it, how you deliver it, why you're doing it, that you're not doing it out of compulsion or obligations, that you're doing it because God has called you to it, and you love doing it. You energize doing it, but you do it because you love the other people you're doing it for.”

“What about my lungs? We don't see the lungs. What about my spleen? Those parts that we don't see are the vital parts. I as Paul put it, they have the honor, the highest honor. Those people we don't see that are behind the scenes, that are taking care of our children, that are in the booth, that are getting the floors of the church ready before we show up or the chairs. Those are the heart, the lungs, the spleen of the church. Those are services that make it vital for us to sit here and enjoy the word of God coming to us and listen to God speak to us.”
