32s
“Don't be discouraged when you're having power power failure in your life. God wants you to act in faith. And as we experience the power of the resurrection of Christ, When we take risks for him, we get to know him better. We get to trust him more. We become more like him. So, we get to know Christ by experiencing his power in our lives.”
38s
“Now you say, yeah, but the suffering I have, it's all because of the bad decisions I've made. Well, perhaps that's true. But do you know that God can take suffering that comes from bad decisions, and he can sanctify it, and he can make it into something that can be presented to God as an act of worship so that in your suffering, even though it's your fault mainly, you will encounter Christ and get to know him better.”
37s
“So what do we do with tribulation that we bring upon ourselves? Do we throw it out and say, I'm just gonna get through it? No. We present it to Christ, we say, God, by your help, I will take this suffering. I will sanctify it. I will baptize it, and I will let you use it to transform my character. Suffering is good for the believer. It is always good, no matter whether you did it to yourself or whether a broken world is doing it to you. Are you with me?”
