49s
“``In your utmost rebellion, God is pursuing you. Okay? Even in your quietest moments, spending time with the Lord in the morning, guess what? God is pursuing you. God is a pursuer. And to the unbeliever and the person that may have just been rejecting Jesus all too long, any desire that you have ever had for God, it's because he's pursuing you. It ain't because you're going to him. Because Paul says that no man seeks God. And so any desire that you've had for God is because he is pursuing you. And the greater thing about that is that any desire from God, every single desire, it's an invitation to step in.”
39s
“And so I have this truth here that brokenness grows in distractions, but gets exposed in the presence of God When we just slow down enough. Brokenness grows in distraction, but gets exposed in the presence of God. And Jacob is there. Jacob is there and he finds himself in an encounter that he describes as wrestling with God. And in that wrestling, God was going to turn the ugliness of a man called Jacob into the beauty of a new person.”
