#KingdomNow
“``The kingdom of heaven is not just some far off reality that we wait for when we die. The kingdom of heaven is here present now. Wherever you see that red sanctuary lamp when you enter a church, that's your signal that the kingdom of God is right here present for you, and you have to make a choice. Am I gonna give all I have for this treasure, or am I gonna hold something back from God? Am I willing, ready, and joyfully going to give it all away, or am I just gonna hold back? Because with God, it's all or nothing. There's no if, ends, between, it's all or nothing.”

#GiveYourLifeToGod
“The most freeing thing you can do is give your life to God. The most liberating, the happiest decision you can make is just to lay it all down. Three, four years ago when I was ordained a priest in Saint Patrick's Cathedral, laying down on that marble floor with my face pressed to the marble, that was the happiest moment because everything is his. All my futures, all my dreams, all desires, everything, it's his. And that's it.”

#FreedByFaith
“I gotta say, it's one of the most freeing things you can do. The most freeing thing you can do is give your life to God.

#PossessedByGod
“I did it with joy, and there's nothing more liberating, nothing more freeing, nothing more life giving than to with joy sell all that you have to possess God. And the beautiful thing happens, my brothers and sisters, that when we do, when we with joy lay everything down, only do we possess the treasure we've been longing for, but that treasure possesses us. We in God and God in us.”

#WisdomAndSatisfaction
“The same wisdom that Solomon asked God for. The wisdom to know right from wrong, to know what is good and what is not, what is truly good. Because a lot of things my brothers and sisters, if we're honest, only fill us halfway. A lot of things in this world, what we we might consider what makes us happy only satisfy us to a point. But it's only in God that we're completely satisfied. So what happens when we find that satisfaction of our souls? What happens when we find the truth we've been craving? We have to make a choice. Do we keep everything that we thought worked, or do we sell all we have and possess the treasure that we've been longing for?”

#ChooseTheTreasure
“So what happens when we find that satisfaction of our souls? What happens when we find the truth we've been craving? We have to make a choice. Do we keep everything that we thought worked, or do we sell all we have and possess the treasure that we've been longing for? Do we, with joy, and this is really important, do we, with joy, go and sell everything that we thought satisfies us so that we can possess the one treasure of the kingdom of heaven? Or do we just hang on to everything that makes us comfortable?”

#SatisfiedOnlyInGod
“a lot of things my brothers and sisters, if we're honest, only fill us halfway. A lot of things in this world, what we we might consider what makes us happy only satisfy us to a point. #LeaveItAllFollowJesus
“How many of us, when we've had that encounter with God, when we've been faced with the decision to leave everything else behind, leave our friends, leave our family, leave, I don't know, the desire to be liked, the desire to be well known, all the things that may make us happy. When we've been faced with that decision, to leave all that behind to follow Jesus is really that hard. Is it really that hard to empty yourself so that you can attain the truth, so you can grasp that happiness you've been longing for? Yeah, it is. But I gotta say, it's one of the most freeing things you can do. The most freeing thing you can do is give your life to God. The most liberating, the happiest decision you can make is just to lay it all down.”
