#SaviorStrengthNotFaith
“Our peace is built on the strength of our savior. Sometimes we think, if I have enough peace, oh, I can do great things. And we end up putting our faith in I'm sorry. We sometimes just say, if I have enough faith if I have enough faith, I can accomplish great things. I wanna increase my faith. And we end up putting our faith in our faith. We end up putting our faith and our ability to believe and to declare. That's not faith. That's faith in faith. That's not what Jesus is asking for. They did these disciples didn't have faith. Their faith failed them. Their courage left them. And yet Jesus said, you still will have peace because peace is built on the strength, not of our faith, but the strength of our savior.”

#RelationshipWithJesus
“Christianity isn't mainly a philosophy achieving inner calm. It's not a collection of relaxation techniques. It's not simply learning to think positively, and I believe in thinking positively. It's better than thinking negatively. But being a follower of Christ and having his peace is is not just that. At the center of Christianity is a person, Jesus Christ. And notice how often he refers to himself in these verses. He says, I came from the father. I entered the world. I am leaving the world. I'm going back to the father. And then in verse 33, he says, I have told you these things so that in me in me you may have peace. He's not saying, I I will teach you how to find peace, but he's saying, in me, you may have peace. Peace is found in a relationship Jesus. In a relationship with Jesus.”

#PeaceOnChristWork
“You won't always understand what God is doing. You won't always know what comes next, but you know who Jesus is, and the foundation of our peace is not, I understand everything, so I have peace. That's not the foundation of our peace. The foundation of our peace is I know Jesus, and he's walking with me. John 16 tells us he wasn't merely a religious teacher. He he tells us Jesus said he came from the father, entered the world, went to the cross, he rose again, he returned to the father, he's victorious, he reigns victorious. Our peace then rests on all those things that Jesus has done, not the things that we can control.”

#TrustBeyondTurbulence
“Now imagine instead the pilot says, we're passing through an area of strong turbulence. But folks, want you to know this plane is designed to handle it. We've adjusted our altitude, and we expect to be through it shortly. Now that announcement there gives you peace. But guess what he he did? He acknowledged the danger. He didn't say nothing's happening. He said, okay, we're going through some turbulence. He acknowledged the truth, but but then he said, but we can handle this. This plan can handle this. We've made adjustments. Jesus does the same thing. He does the same thing. He doesn't say, you'll never suffer because you're a Christian. He says you will have trouble. But then he says, I have overcome the world, and that means something. I'm gonna attach my life to the person who has overcome. I'm gonna attach my life to the victor.”
