“``Like, listen, all of us in this culture today, mean, there's whole YouTube channels that are call out culture. That's all it is. We're really good at call out culture, but Christians, we don't get to just call out, we call out to call up. And so like that's what you've been given this influence for. You've been given influence in your home, over your children, over your peers, in this church. You've been given influence to call out, to call up. That's not who listen. That's not who you wanna be. I know that. You don't wanna be like that. You don't wanna say those things. You don't wanna do that. So here here's the question I want us all to wrestle with. Who has God placed in your life this week? And how can you leverage your influence for their good and for God's glory?”

“And I already know what some of you are thinking. You're like, oh, yeah. You know, if I if I had the kind of money that the lenders did, then I would live the same well, I'd live the same way. Let me no, you wouldn't. You you're expecting God to bless you with much so then you'll be so that then you'll be generous with much. He's never gonna bless you with more if you're not faithful with what you've already been given. He would be an unwise God to do that. And so what we what I what I learned that night and what I want you to get into your mind and what I want to get into our mind is is this little simple truth. Okay? Is our influence begins to shrivel the moment that life becomes about us. And when selfishness takes over, we don't multiply our influence, we waste it.”

“And I gotta be honest with you, a lot of us, we really struggle with this. And we really hold on to all the things that we think are ours. When in reality everything that you have been given, family, it's a gift. What you have today, your talent, your skills, your leadership, your influence, your resources, they're not yours. They're God's and he put it on loan to you and you've been entrusted with those resources to make an impact on more than just you, but an impact on this world.”

“So here's the point. You have influence. Every single one of us in this room today have influence, all of us. How are you gonna leverage it? Are you gonna be Nabal? Horde Horde it. Horde it. You're wasting it. You're be David and you're gonna you know, when when your influence isn't received or your something you give is rejected, you're just gonna be angry about it and then create a a massive wake of destruction behind you? Or are you gonna leverage it like Abigail and see what you've been given as a stewardship opportunity? That God is going to use you to call out but up.”
