#SpiritualHearing
“``So this morning I encourage you to ask yourself, how is my spiritual hearing this morning? Is my heart open? Am I listening with understanding? Am I obeying what God says? Am I sowing his truth into the lives of other people? What is your answer to those important questions? As we prepare for this time of invitation, I do encourage you to understand that God specializes in making fertile the sole of your life. He softens hard hearts. He deepens shallow faith. He removes choking weeds. He makes barren lives fruitful through the power of his amazing grace.”

#PullTheWeeds
“``They can be good but the good can sometimes become the enemy of the best. Don't allow that to happen. What weeds are growing in your life right now? Identify the weeds in your life. Anxiety, materialism, busyness, unforgiveness. Vegetable beds have to be weeded. Flower beds have to be weeded. So do our lives. Isn't it time for us to do some weeding this morning? I believe that's what God is saying to you and to me. Pull the weeds and let the word and the will of God flourish.”

#DailySoilTest
“``People can come to faith in Christ and have eternal life through your words, through your ministry to them. And so this morning, remember this powerful parable. It challenges all of us to do a daily soil test. Our hearts change daily. Today's fertile soil can become tomorrow's hardened path. Today's shallow faith can become deeply rooted through daily fellowship with Christ. Today's thorn filled heart can become fruitful through repentance and surrender. And so we just need to pray that God would make us tender hearted, receptive to his will, to his word, committed to his purpose.”

“``As we prepare for this time of invitation, I do encourage you to understand that God specializes in making fertile the sole of your life. He softens hard hearts. He deepens shallow faith. He removes choking weeds. He makes barren lives fruitful through the power of his amazing grace. So right now, do a soil test in your life. Have you become hardened? Have you grown shallow? Have you become thorny, cluttered with weeds with your attitudes that crowd out the Lord? Right now, the Lord is calling you to be a faithful, fruitful, fruitful follower of his.”
