"Don't love what God hates. Those who do, they end up destroyed. That's the takeaway from 1 Corinthians 10. Ephesians 5:3 says, 'But sexual immorality must not even be named among you, as is proper among saints.' It's not even proper; it's not fitting. That's the shock of 1 Corinthians 5. Paul's appalled that he has to address the situation. It's not even fitting; shouldn't be named among the church." [00:33:09]

"Engaging in discussions that normalize sin can create a false sense of comfort and enablement. Instead, we should bring our sins to light with trusted spiritual leaders who can provide true guidance and support. Confiding in the guy you know is falling on the same thing doesn't help anybody." [00:35:03]

"No temptation is overtaking you that is not common to man. God is faithful; He will not let you be tempted beyond your ability. But with the temptation, He will also provide the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it. This is a wonderful, powerful promise." [00:36:26]

"God's word tells us, regardless of what you've been exposed to, no temptation is unique to you. None. We all get faced with the same temptations. It's a very common experience. If you're overtaken by a temptation, it's not because of something different about you." [00:38:02]

"Paul tells the Colossians, 'Put to death, therefore, that which is earthly in you.' There's something earthly in you that seeks to raise up with you in the morning. The flesh in us, put it to death, he says. What's earthly in you? He doesn't question if something might rise up in you." [00:42:11]

"Pornography is a learned behavior. It is a compulsive habit, and once you give place to it by choice, it's easy to go back to. It's not a disease. We're not talking about some disease. It's a choice. It's your choice; it's your will that takes you there." [00:52:14]

"Pornography, it's like a drug. It holds this intoxicating feeling of power, a high, a trip, if you will, that's completely delusional fantasy. In pornography, you boil it all down to, ultimately, it's self-worship. That's what it is. It's notching my pathetic fantasy belt, conquering someone." [00:52:43]

"God's grace is sufficient for you. In other words, I'm gonna give you power and the ability and enablement to serve me with that affliction. That's what was a promise to him: my grace is sufficient to enable you to endure this trial that I've laid upon you." [00:56:03]

"God's grace gives power to do and not do things in our life. I mean, have you experienced that in your life? Something, some weakness that you know you weren't able to do, you didn't have the strength to do, the ability to do, the power to do, and God's come along and helped you." [00:58:10]

"God's grace enables us, is able to make all grace abound to us. God's grace gives power to do and not do things in our life. I mean, have you experienced that in your life? Something, some weakness that you know you weren't able to do, you didn't have the strength to do." [00:58:10]
