Today’s gathering was a celebration of God’s faithfulness, His unmatched greatness, and His deep desire for unity among His people. We began by remembering the vastness and majesty of God—the One who measured the waters in His hand, set the boundaries for the seas, and breathed life into each of us. No matter what we face, He is intimately aware of our circumstances and is always worthy of our praise. Worship is not just a ritual, but a powerful weapon that realigns our hearts and minds to the truth of who God is and what He has done for us. In worship, we are reminded that He is the only One worthy, the Lamb who was slain, the King who reigns forever, and the One who invites us into His presence.
We also took time to focus on the unity of the Church, stepping out to bless and support other congregations in our city. This is not just a symbolic gesture, but a practical step toward breaking down walls of isolation and building a community that reflects the heart of Christ. By praying for and supporting Orchard View Church of God, we are declaring that we are one body, called to encourage and empower each other for the sake of our city.
The heart of today’s teaching centered on overcoming fear. Fear is a universal struggle, manifesting in countless ways—perfectionism, procrastination, people-pleasing, avoidance, overthinking, and more. If left unaddressed, fear will shrink our lives and keep us from stepping into the fullness of our God-given identity and calling. But God has not given us a spirit of fear; He has given us power, love, and a sound mind. We are not meant to fight fear in our own strength, but to recognize it as a spirit and confront it with the weapons God provides—especially the power of worship and the truth of His Word.
Through the stories of Moses and Joshua, we see that God’s call often leads us into places that feel overwhelming. Yet, He promises to be with us, to empower us, and to reward our obedience and courage. Worship becomes a practical tool to shift our focus from our fears to God’s sufficiency. When we remember who He is, everything changes—our perspective, our courage, and our hope. As we go out, we are invited to live lives marked by freedom, unity, and the overcoming power of Christ.

2. Exodus 3:19-22 (ESV) — > But I know that the king of Egypt will not let you go unless compelled by a mighty hand. So I will stretch out my hand and strike Egypt with all the wonders that I will do in it; after that he will let you go. And I will give this people favor in the sight of the Egyptians; and when you go, you shall not go empty, but each woman shall ask of her neighbor, and any woman who lives in her house, for silver and gold jewelry, and for clothing. You shall put them on your sons and on your daughters. So you shall plunder the Egyptians.
3. Joshua 1:9 (ESV) — > Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.
