If you're going to be hungry for God, you need to realize compromise kills hunger for God. Compromise is always costly. It doesn't satisfy it. It numbs. It dulls our hunger for God and feeds our appetite for the world. Compromise is not something that we should be involved in if we are Christians. [00:08:54] (19 seconds)  #CompromiseKillsHunger

Sin always seduces before it slays. Numbers chapter 25 again, verse 1. Now Israel remained in the Achaia Grove, and the people began to commit harlotry with the woman of Moab. They invited the people to the sacrifices of their gods, and the people ate and bowed down to their gods. So Israel was joined to Baal of Peor, and the anger of the Lord was aroused against Israel. By the way, can I just tell you something? God is a jealous God. Sometimes we don't think God has feelings. God's jealous. Every time we compromise, God gets jealous. Every time we do something that doesn't please him, God gets jealous. God, that hurts the heart of God. [00:21:39] (47 seconds)  #SinSeductionKills

Sin is like a credit card. Swipe now, pay later. Swipe now, pay later. You get that big thing in the mail. Zero percent. Until 2027. Oh. Oh. I can buy what I want now. And you put something that you can't afford on that. But you believe in God that by the time 2027 comes around, you're going to have that money. 2027 comes around, zero percent is up. Now you're paying 20%. And then you're stuck in small payments for the rest of your life because you couldn't control the craving. See, that's like sin. Sin is over promises, under delivers. Sin will cost you more than you want to pay, keep you longer than you want to stay. Sin always slays at the end. [00:30:38] (56 seconds)  #SinCostsMoreThanYouThink

The power of God is released in instant obedience. When God gives you an instruction, reason is never required. When God tells you to do something, don't go home and think about it. Can you serve in this area? Well, I need to pray about it. What are we praying about? What are we praying about? Are we praying about what God already said to do? He said, do the work of the ministry. If you're gifted to do it and there's a need, just do it. [00:31:53] (28 seconds)  #InstantObediencePower

Olympic athletes kill their cravings for junk food, for late nights, and for comfort because their hunger for gold is greater than their appetite for pleasure. If they do that for a crown that is tarnishable, for a crown that vanishes away, how much more should you and I do for a crown that lasts for all of eternity? So you and I need to realize that we are not in it for just this life, but we are in it forever and ever and ever. The crown that we receive is a crown of glory, and God is calling us to kill our cravings because he is worth it. [00:40:33] (35 seconds)  #EternalCrownOverTemporary

If you're hungry for God, it isn't loss, it's joy. If you're hungry for God, it's not what you gave up, it's what you gained. If you're hungry for God, it's not what you left, but what you entered into. If you're hungry for God, it's not what you mourn, but what you have peace over. If you're hungry for God, you will lay down anything. [00:41:08] (18 seconds)  #HungerBringsJoyNotLoss

The enemy has lied to us that we can't. The enemy lies to us in thinking, well, it's impossible. You have the power of the Holy Spirit on the inside of you. The greater one is living on the inside of you. The same power that raised Jesus Christ up from the dead is living on the inside of you. Do you know what kind of power that is? That is explosive. That is dunamis power. That is power to ignite and cause an explosion in your life. There is no power greater than the power that is living on the inside of you. No temptation is stronger than what's living on the inside. You need to rise up and kill your cravings. And I promise you that when you do, it'll be worth it. [00:42:24] (49 seconds)  #HolySpiritPowerWithin

``I've never regretted saying no to something that I knew was wrong so I could say yes to God in my life. I've never regretted that. I have regretted saying no to God and saying yes to stuff that I knew was wrong in my life. Heartache, pain, distance from God, spiritual apathy, all because I wouldn't say no, I wouldn't kill that craving. God's word to you today is rise up and kill it, rise up and kill it, rise up and kill it. [00:43:14] (41 seconds)  #NoRegretsSayingNo
