#DoTheWord
“So don't just listen to God's word. We need to do what it says. We can all listen to God's word. And God's word, you know, we we got it here, haven't we, in front of us? It's that ever change that never changing message of truth from God himself, isn't it? And just as in verse 19, says, allow it to be implanted in us, we're also told there's so much more than just hearing it.”

#SlowToAnger
“So when do get in this mindset, where we're frustrated, where we're angry, the consequences are not just isolated to us. Sometimes they can because sometimes it can cause a squabble between two people, but actually, when we're angry in our lives, the consequences are far greater than that. It says here in verse verse 20, for the anger of man does not produce the righteousness of God. When our lives are angry, we're unable to reflect that righteousness of God in our lives.”

#ServeOthersFirst
“And the religion that God values, as it gives here, it gives you examples, doesn't he, of serving other people. He talks about visiting orphans and widows in their affliction and to keep oneself unstained from the world. The religion that God values is a completely selfless concern, for others. And that's how the Lord himself was, wasn't he? As we look at it, he walked around the world. He always put other people first. And that's how we should be in our lives as well.”
23s
#HearThenDo
“And God will bless you in your life if you are a doer of the word and you listen to what he says and do it. But you do have to read it first. You can't be a doer without hearing it first. It's not saying only be a doer. Don't be a hearer. It's saying you're going to need to be a hearer before you can do it, but be a doer. Don't just stop at the hearing stage.”

#LoveLikeJesus
“But John in John chapter 13 verse thirty four and thirty five, he says this verse that we know very well, a new command I give to you, love one another as I have loved you. So you must love one another. By this, everyone will know that you are my disciples if you love one another. So the benefit isn't just for us, isn't it? The world will know that we are his disciples if we love one another.”

#CheckYourMotives
“I think sometimes we try and justify anger. We sort of use the words of righteous anger and we see examples of the Lord. We all think of the example of the Lord himself in the temple where he threw the tables over, that anger. But I think if we look at our own lives, our anger tends to far more often than not be self centered, isn't it? It's upon people just not giving us what we want. I think those cases of righteous anger are actually few and far between our own human lives. Often it's just our own desires and our own needs not being met that makes us angry.”
38s
#LetGodsWordRoot
“Receiving God's word far more than just hearing it. It becomes here the implanted word. So the word of God, the implanted word that becomes part of us, it becomes part of our lives. It changes who we are and only then do we see the fruit of the spirit growing in our lives, which takes us back to that fruit of the spirit when we've dealt with these issues or allowed God to help us deal with these issues and we've received his word into our lives, it changes who we are and allows that fruit to be manifested in our life.”
26s
#BlessedByObedience
“And as I said, verse 25, you'll be blessed in your doing. He will bring about a satisfaction and a joy in your life that you can't imagine when you come and listen to his word and do it and put it into action. And we remember the Lord wants us to have a great life. The way we have a great life is serving him, not great in the necessary means of what we think from a human perspective.”
