#BethelHeart
“And Bethel is not limited to that stone, that wilderness place. Bethel is anywhere God takes up residence in our lives. Your heart can be called Bethel if you will allow it to be the place where God dwells. But when you let him in and let your life be Bethel, it means you're gonna have to be honest with him and open with him. It means you don't keep any closets locked anymore. The closet of fear or the closet of bitterness or the closet of resentment, the closet of secret sins. It means you give God the key to all of the space in your life so that you can truly become holy because of His presence.”

#GodSeeksYou
“And David suddenly realizes that's been going on all his life. And that's been going on all your life too. God has searched you and he has known you and he loves you and he has reached out through his grace to present himself to you in the person of his son so that you can really know God personally and trust him as savior and Lord. Before David seeks God, God seeks David. Before Jacob sought God, God sought Jacob. And before you sought God, God sought you. He's the initiator.”

#DivineAppointments
“When our prayers are answered, do we realize that God has been working in our lives in order for those prayers to be answered? Do we sometimes think something is a coincidence when it is actually a divine appointment? People came into your life in surprising ways and that was not an accident. God sent those folks to be a blessing in your life. The problem is not God's absence. The problem is our awareness deficit. And this morning I hope that you will grow in your awareness of the awesome holy presence of almighty gracious God in your life.”

#GraceMovesFirst
“God came looking for Jacob. Grace moves first. is the great initiator. Work that word into your understanding of God. He moves first before we even know that we need him to move in our lives. And you may not be aware of it but God has been working in your life from the day you were born. In fact, God knew you before you were born. He's been protecting and guiding and providing and speaking to you. How aware have you been of all of that?”
