“An open door to me, to my natural mind means something that looks perfect. Something that looks easy. Something that falls into your lap. Right? But that's not the door that Jesus is speaking about here with his church of Philadelphia. See, the door that Jesus is opening to those that have been faithful in his church, to those that have persevered, to those who have held to his word, to those that are holding to his name, The door that he always opens that you see in scripture is always the door of faith. It is the opportunity of faith. And God does not open up the door of faith when everything looks perfect, when all the stars are aligning, when it looks like the absolute best opportunity to be able to move and do the thing that God is calling you to do. No. No. No. God always opens up the door of faith when circumstances in the natural are impossible.”

“Jesus will wait until all the old wine runs out. Until everything you're trying to do in the natural finally fails, and then he'll open up a door. He'll open up the door and the opportunity of faith. He doesn't need perfect circumstances. All he needs is a soft heart. He doesn't need any of the old wine to make a miracle happen. Some of you are worried because the old wine's gone. God said, no, I wanted it that way. You know, sometimes the Lord only opens up this door of faith for a moment. It's a momentary door.”

“This is the only time where we know in part, where God comes and he reveals who he is through the word and he gives us promises and we don't know how he's gonna fulfill them. We don't know how it's gonna happen. We don't see the whole picture. It's the only time we can lay our lives down and trust him fully and completely knowing that what he has said and what he has done is enough. This is it. There's no other time. In fact, the Bible says without faith it's impossible to please him. Our faith pleases him. It's the one thing that we bring to God that blesses his heart.”
61s
“And yet right there at that moment, when all those voices came around Jerry said, don't bother the teacher anymore. Jesus opens up a door of faith. He says, don't be afraid. believe. He says, Jarius, I see your heart. I see your faithfulness. I see that you came to me in humble submission. I'm gonna open a door to you. I'm gonna reward you with something. Just believe. Don't listen to the mourners at your house. Don't listen to those that are playing on the instrument saying she's gone. Don't listen to those that are ridiculing your faith and laughing at you because you're trusting I could still do something. Don't listen to any of it. I'm opening up a door of faith. I'm giving you a reward. I'm giving you an opportunity to see me work, to see me work in a way that only I can work.”
