#FixEyesOnJesus
“Because I believe God is actually calling us to new new levels in our worship. And this is why we worship because it points us to Jesus. It helps shift our focus to Jesus. And so those those 10 things that have distracted us and got us worried and got us anxious and got us troubled, man, they begin to shrink when we begin to fix our eyes and focus Jesus. I believe when we prioritize his presence, we create opportunity for him to speak and for him to move in our lives.”

#PresenceChangesEverything
“I believe a moment in his presence can shift and change everything. Attitudes can change. Mindsets can change. Miracles can happen. When we prioritize and we we we we we begin to step further into our own personal worship, Their breakthrough, this healing. When we worship, we align ourselves with God's will for our lives. Because I don't know if you know this, but you were made to glorify God. Your life was was put to you were put together for the glory of God. And so when we step into worship, we're aligning ourselves with with our true calling, our true purpose, what we've been put on this earth to do.”

#UncomfortableFaith
“When we first said yes to Jesus, right, it didn't matter what the worship music sounded like. We were entering in. It didn't matter what the preacher said from stage. We were we were changed. So I wonder this morning if we're feeling a little bit comfortable in our Christianity. And I wanna tell you that the new levels that you wanna see in your faith journey will require new levels of uncomfortability. I'll repeat that so you can write it down. That was a bar right there. I underlined it in my notes. The new levels you wanna see in your faith journey will require new levels of uncomfortability.”

#ListenDontList
“Here's what I've noticed in my own life, I don't like to listen, I like to list. I don't like to listen, I like to list in my role in business. I work in a software company. I work in sales, and it would be so much easier for me to just list for the person what I need them to do for me. But if you're in sales, know that you can't do that. You gotta listen to what they're needing, and it's the same with our walk with Jesus and our prayer life, isn't it? We turn up to our prayer and we say, God, here are the things that I need in the order of prioritization. Firstly, just finances. Would you just pour out the finances right now? Open heaven. And then my family, and then my future, and all the things. Right? We come with our list. It's easy to list. It's harder to listen, but see, I believe God is calling us to stop and to listen.”

#StepOutInFaith
“And why isn't God moving in this part of my life? Or why isn't he answering this prayer? Or what what's going on here? Maybe what's required is actually a step out. Maybe what's required is a lean in. Maybe what's required is you saying yes to the call instead of being like, oh, God doesn't answer my prayers. Saying yes. Come on. Getting encouraged. Getting stepping out because the mission was never comfort. The mission was courage. Courage to step out.”

#YouMatterToJesus
“And I wanna pause here because I I think we scan scan over that a little bit. Like, we we we don't realize that Jesus kinda spent a lot of time in these smaller insignificant places. He didn't go to the cities where he had all the opportunities and all the wealthy people and all the people of influence. No, he went to the villages, the places that were insignificant and I just want to I don't know, I feel like God leave me this morning to say like, maybe you're in the room you feel insignificant. Maybe you're in the room, you feel overlooked. Can I remind you that Jesus sees you? He knows you. He wants relationship with you this morning.”

#BeyondEasyFaith
“Are you distracted with what is comfortable? Jesus is calling us as a church family to give up and to move out of comfortable Christianity. What is comfortable Christianity? Comfortable Christianity is when we do what is easy. When we do that we take the easy route instead of maybe the narrower, more challenging path. And see, I think I think Martha was operating in what was comfortable operating in her wheelhouse. She understood her duty as the home owner and she's like, cool. I I gotta do this. I've I've gotta get this all together for Jesus right now. So I'm gonna be distracted over here. This is what I'm supposed to be doing. Now hear what I'm saying. It's not that work is a bad thing. Work is a great thing. Actually, Martha was doing a good thing by serving Jesus, but what is what happened? She let it it distract her. She let it become a distraction.”

#HowIsYourWorship
“How is your worship life? You might be thinking, Andy, pastor Andy, that's not a very catchy third point. Expected more from you. No. Answer the question. How is your worship life? Because I believe that this is probably the best reflection of this piece of scripture. If we begin to weigh things up and reflect on this, like, is god is Jesus the one thing? Am I a Martha or am I a Mary? Like, where am I in this load? What does your worship life look like? Can you put on a worship song and worship for five minutes and actually make it to the end? Can you spend time in God's presence where you don't have to rush to the next thing?”
