#FaithTransformsSociety
“``See, the bible makes clear that paradise won't come through human systems. Paradise will come when Christ returns. In the meantime, of heaven on earth will come as people come to the Lord and receive transformed hearts changed from the inside out, becoming people of compassion and love, seeking to bring goodness and justice their spheres of influence. Most of the greatest advancements in social transformation across the world and across history has come through born again Christians working to change the world because Christ is in them, and they have a heart of love and compassion for others.”

#ChecksNotConcentration
“There's danger. That's the reason why our founding fathers who were overwhelmingly Christian created checks and balances in the constitution because they recognized the danger of human depravity. And they they made a system that it it moves slow on purpose and doesn't concentrate power and checks those in power. Socialism concentrates power in government and in governmental bureaucracies in order to enforce their policies. It always begins with politicians or revolutionaries making utopian promises. When they get into power, they put their ideologies above the good of the people, resulting in great suffering.”

#OneInChristUnity
“The bible does not overlook systemic injustice, and we need to be aware of it. But the bible also places the primary responsibility for personal life change upon the individual. And then critical theory sees certain groups as evil and other groups as good, and that's ridiculous because we all are fallen. We all are sinners. We also all have the image of God in us. There's God's good and beauty in us. There's also the fallenness of human nature, and it runs across all people and all groups. And finally, critical theory divides people against one another, neighbors against neighbors, races against races, sexes against sexes. Whereas the bible seeks to unify for we are all one in Christ Jesus, and we seek to bring all into that unity of Christ.”

#RememberEveryLife
“Now, such numbers are so vast that we can lose sight of the reality. number, each one represents a man, or a woman, or a child who lived, who loved, who had dreams and hopes, who had a family, who were put to death, or starved to death in front of their family members who themselves would starve. The tragedy is beyond comprehension. That's not compassion. It sounded like it in the beginning.”

#BiblicalFoundationsMatter
“As we mentioned last week, that does not mean that everyone in government has to be a Christian. It does mean that unless we adhere to the Christian worldview upon which our founders established this nation, our law and our practice will deteriorate. And so for the highest good of everyone, Christian and non Christian, we desire to uphold the truths God has made known in his word and creation that were at the foundation of our nation, the equality of all people, the affirmation that humans are the crown of God's creation, that life is sacred, that we must respect one another, and that we must strive to ensure life, liberty, and justice for all.”

#WorkIncentivesMatter
“People have a responsibility to use their god given abilities to work diligently, to practice stewardship of that which god has given them. Socialism weakens incentives to work. And because of this, socialism actually increases poverty in socialistic nations. People are like, why work? Work harder. It won't make any difference to me. And that's a well established reality as you look at systems that were socialistic in historically.”

#FaithInfluencesPolitics
“Last week, we emphasized that if we are going to be able to keep this republic, as Franklin exhorted, our nation, and this is my first point, our nation must continue to be guided by biblical truth. This is just a review. Last week, we addressed those who claimed that the first amendment requires us to keep faith out of politics. And we explained that the purpose of the first amendment, which was drafted by deeply committed Christians, was to keep the government from interfering with the church, not the other way around, not to keep faith out of politics. Our founding fathers could not have imagined faith not influencing our politics. In fact, they felt that apart from that, our nation would not endure. The nation was built it was founded upon a Christian worldview. And if we're to keep this republic, the biblical principles and worldview that were at the foundation of this nation must remain at the foundation.”

#VoluntarySharingNotCollectivism
“But sharing here was voluntary. And the word everything in all those words are sometimes used generally in the bible because what you see is that people, though they had everything in common, they would bring maybe things to, like a land to sell, to help support other people. So that they saw everything as in common, but they own continued to own private property. And they were not forced by the government to surrender possessions or by the apostles to surrender their possessions, which would have been a cult.”
