#ChangeStartsWithin
“Because when we recognize yes, there are problems in the system. We need to be honest about that. We need to be open hearted and resolve things that need to be resolved. But we re recognize that the biggest issue is right here in me. I need to be transformed by the grace and the power of my glorious lord, Jesus Christ, who died for my sins to wash me clean and make me a new creation. I take responsibility for my sins, for my failures. I take responsibility for myself. The problem isn't out there. The primary problem is right here. That's the reason why the concept of critical theory as a philosophy is in contradiction to both our founder's vision of this nation and the biblical worldview.”

#FaithGuidesPolitics
“Christianity requires that we allow for that. Bible makes clear that faith must be freely chosen and not coerced. Now that being said, we need to add this, the core beliefs of Christianity require the integration of faith and politics. Folks, God is God over all. He's God over every area of your life, which means he's also God, not only of yourself and your family and your kids and your you and your workplace, but you and the political world. And because of that, how we think about politics, how we vote, needs to be guided by our biblical convictions. Now this doesn't mean that we impose Christianity on others. It does mean that we live out our Christianity with integrity.”

#KingdomOverNation
“We must never confuse the kingdom of God with the governments of this world. America is not the kingdom of God. That'd be blasphemy. We were so much littler. Now the king the kingdom of God universal, literally, across the universe. It's God's rule over everything. And the kingdom of God is present in America where people who are following Jesus are submitted to the king. And it's present in every other nation where people are submitted to the king. And our citizenship, our primary citizenship is to the king of kings and the lord of lords.”

#BiblicalWorldviewRestores
“So there's this conflict with the biblical worldview. A worldview is a story in our mind of the that answers the basic questions of life and reality. Christianity tells one comprehensive overarching narrative about reality in four basic acts, creation, fall, redemption, and restoration. Our identity as humans is in creation. We're created in the image of God. There's human dignity for every one of us because of that. Our problem is that we've fallen into sin, and because of that, there's human depravity. These are the two pillars of the the constitution was built upon. What's the solution? We need God. We need salvation. We need him to break in and redeem us from the sin and death that we have gotten ourselves into. And what's the goal? The goal is restoration to the original image of God, to the wonderful plan that God has for our lives. That's the bib the Christian world view.”

#ProtectFaithFromState
“The original concern in this first amendment was to prevent government coercion or control of religion. The goal was never never to remove religion from public life or from politics. These were committed believers. What their concern was was that the government would not interfere. The founders wanted to protect religion from the interference of the state, not protect the state from the influence of religion, which they saw as essential for our nation's health.”

#DignityAndDepravity
“The twin pillars of the constitution are right from the biblical understanding of humanity, human dignity, and human depravity. That's why we have checks and balances. That's why we can allow people to run the nation because there's human dignity. We need checks and balances because there's human depravity. We recognize the the reality of who we are as humans according to the bible.”

#ServeOthersLeadBetter
“if they aren't living for something higher and more important than self, then what will happen is we will govern purely out of our own selfish interest to get what we can get, and our laws, our system will be degraded by selfish motives, by the swamp of selfishness, and by sinful living. Only those who are seeking to love God and to love others as they love themselves. Only a people that are are seeking to bring goodness for others in our work, in our law, only they are able to provide a government of the people, by the people, and for the people, as Abraham Lincoln said.”

#NoStateReligion
“And because in the Middle Ages, the church and state were merged, there was disastrous results upon Christianity. The church was corrupted by political power, and the state interfered regularly with the church. Christians believe that people must respond to the work of the spirit within us, and that requires all people to freely choose to believe or not to believe, and never be forced to follow a particular religion by a government.”
