"For there is one God in other words the logic seems to be if there were many gods then each Society might have its own God and God's universality here of Desiring all people to be saved wouldn't fit in other words he would just desire his own people to be saved his tribe and other gods would desire their people to be saved perhaps but there is one God which means if there's going to be salvation among all the peoples they've got to go through that one God and there is one mediator between God and man and man the man Christ Jesus who gave himself as a ransom for all which is the testimony in its own times." [00:34:16]

"So there's one God for all the peoples no tribal deity and therefore if there's going to be salvation it will come through the one God and then he says there is one mediator so you get God and you got man and there's this huge barrier of Sin from man's part and wrath from God's part there's no hope of reconciliation except that God sent a mediator between God and man the man Christ Jesus I underline man and he underlines man because that's the only way the mediation could work salvation came because Christ took on human form so that he could die." [02:00:88]

"Since therefore the children share in Flesh and Blood that's human beings share in Flesh and Blood he likewise partook of the same thing so he became flesh and blood that through death this is why he took on flesh and blood so that he could die through death he might destroy the one who has the power of death that is the devil and deliver let's redeem and save as an effective mediator through dying for our sins all those who through fear of death were subject to lifelong slavery so there's only one mediator one way of salvation to the one God over all the so-called gods of the world and that is Jesus Christ." [02:49:00]

"Jesus said I am the way the truth the life no one comes to the father that one God except through me the one mediator and Acts 4:12 puts it like this there is salvation in no one else for there is no other name under Heaven given among men by which we must be Saed saved one God that we must be reconciled with in order to be saved one mediator who was sent by that God to reconcile us to him and the way he's done it is he gave himself as a ransom for all or a Redemption for all and that Redemption and that one mediator to the one God through the man Christ Jesus is the core testimony of the Christian church." [03:38:00]

"But let's spend the rest of our time right here our ransom for all which parallels desires all people to be saved in what sense was he a ransom for all since all are not saved did God pay a ransom and then the ransom be ineffectual did he purchase me or you and not get me or you when we ask the question about Christ dying for all or saving all or Desiring to save all or ransoming all we always need to ask does he intend for this to be an offer and potential or effective and we know that he's not the ransom for all in the sense that all are actually ransomed and freed and brought into the kingdom but he is a ransom for all in the sense that all the people everywhere in the world can be offered the ransom offered the potential of being reconciled to God through the one mediator." [04:59:00]

"Ephesians 1 God chose us in Christ before the foundation of the world that we should be holy and blameless before him in love he predestined us he chose us these are these are Christians for adoption to himself as Sons through Jesus Christ according to the purpose of his will to the praise of the of his glorious Grace which he has blessed us in the Beloved in whom it should be a Comm comma in whom we have Redemption now that's the same meaning as Ransom in whom we have Redemption through his blood the Forgiveness of our trespasses according to the riches of his grace so this entire section here is describing the election and the predestination of of God's chosen people to himself as sons." [06:41:00]

"This Redemption is effective for those who are in Christ predestined in Christ chosen in Christ and now redeemed in Christ it's not a universal redemption in the sense that this same truth right here applies to everybody it applies to the elect the predestined and the redeemed are that same group one more text this is crucial for understanding the term Ransom or Redemption they sang a new song this is revelation 5:9 worthy are you to take the scroll and to open its seals for you were slain and by your blood you ransomed people for God from every tribe and language and people and nation and you have made them a kingdom and priest to our God and they shall reign on the earth now that word from right there is crucial he ransomed effectively people from every tribe." [08:18:00]

"There is sufficiency in Christ for all that if anyone anywhere believes in Christ he will find himself ransomed so that's one reality and the other reality is effectively by God's design and election and predestination and PA he has Ransom people from every tribe and language and people and nation and the effect on this the effect of this for us all should be that if we find ourselves ransomed through the one mediator reconciled to the one God by Jesus Christ we should be overwhelmed with the sense of thankfulness that this Ransom was made effective by God in our lives and when we turn our face outward to our neighborhoods or the Nations we should heral to all there is a ransom oh World there is one God oh World there is one mediator the man Christ Jesus there is one Ransom paid for all in the sense that anyone who comes anyone who believes there is great grace there's great forgiveness there is a ransom believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and you will be reconciled through the one mediator to the true God."
