We are not part of a pantheon of many gods or lords. There is only one true Lord, Jesus Christ. He is the King who conquered death, the Savior who paid our debt, and the risen intercessor at the Father's right hand. This truth brings clarity and power to our worship and our identity. We belong to Him alone, and He holds ultimate authority over every aspect of our lives. [11:02]
“Therefore, God has highly exalted him and bestowed on him the name that is above every name, so that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.” (Philippians 2:9-11 ESV)
Reflection: In what area of your life—be it your finances, your family, or your future—do you most need to be reminded that Jesus is the one Lord with all authority? How would trusting in His singular lordship change your perspective on that situation today?
Our faith is not a vague, general belief. It is "the faith"—the specific, finished work of Jesus Christ. This faith is the complete gospel message: that Jesus died for our sins, was buried, and rose again, defeating the power of sin, death, and hell. It is a singular, unchanging truth upon which we build our lives, assuring us that the work is done. [16:25]
“For I delivered to you as of first importance what I also received: that Christ died for our sins in accordance with the Scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day in accordance with the Scriptures.” (1 Corinthians 15:3-4 ESV)
Reflection: Where have you been trying to complete a work in your own strength that Jesus has already finished for you through "the faith"? What would it look like to rest in and live from that completed work this week?
Baptism is the one, public evidence of our spiritual transformation. It is not about denominational differences but is a singular, outward declaration of an inward reality. Through baptism, we proclaim that we have been placed into Christ, our identity has been changed, and we now belong to Him and His body. It is a powerful testimony of our new life. [23:52]
“We were buried therefore with him by baptism into death, in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, we too might walk in newness of life.” (Romans 6:4 ESV)
Reflection: If your baptism was your public declaration of a changed identity, how are you continuing to live out that new identity in your private life today? In what specific way does your life show you are no longer who you used to be?
We are not isolated believers but part of one unified body. This body is connected by one Spirit and called to one hope. Everything we do is part of a collective work, a shared purpose that is far greater than any individual. Our oneness reflects the nature of the one Lord we serve and is a witness to the world of His love and power. [10:20]
“For just as the body is one and has many members, and all the members of thebody, though many, are one body, so it is with Christ.” (1 Corinthians 12:12 ESV)
Reflection: Considering you are part of one body, what is one practical step you can take this week to strengthen your connection and contribution to your local church family?
We are free people, completely set free by the Son. This freedom is not partial; it is freedom in our spirit, soul, and body. We are no longer bound by sin, the enemy's lies, or the opinions of this world. Our identity is now solely defined by who Christ says we are: redeemed, healed, and on our way to heaven. [01:37]
“So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.” (John 8:36 ESV)
Reflection: What is an old thought pattern or lie from your past that you sometimes still feel bound by, even though Christ has set you free? How can you actively walk in the truth of your freedom in that area today?
The congregation celebrates resurrection power, freedom, and new identity in Christ. The assembly declares that the blood of Jesus finished the work of salvation, breaking sin’s hold on spirit, mind, and body and securing redemption for those who believe. The text emphasizes holistic healing—spiritual, emotional, and physical—grounded in the promise “by his stripes we are healed,” and calls for faith to access that wholeness. A vivid recounting of a recent gathering highlights overflowing attendance, communal effort, and mission-minded generosity as tangible responses to God’s work among the people.
Ephesians 4:1–5 frames the ethical and communal response to salvation: believers must “walk worthy of the calling” with humility, patience, and love, maintaining the unity of the Spirit. The passage insists on corporate identity—one body, one Spirit, one Lord, one faith, one baptism—and stresses clarity about who rules the life of faith: Jesus alone as Lord, victor over death. The “faith” receives a specific definition as the gospel—the finished work of Christ that secures salvation, healing, and deliverance; it is not a vague spirituality but the concrete message of Christ’s death, burial, and resurrection.
The preaching urges believers to refuse resignation and scarcity thinking, to improvise generosity when resources run low, and to pour energy into evangelism and disciple-making. The explanation of baptism portrays it as the public, visible evidence of an inward transformation: immersion into Christ signifies belonging to the one faith and a changed identity. The narrative links early Christian courage—secret fish signs and house gatherings—to contemporary readiness to declare allegiance openly. Ultimately the theology centers on confident identity: belonging to the Lord, living under the faith, and responding in unity and public witness. The congregation is called to live out that identity daily through worship, service, and visible commitment, trusting that Christ’s finished work equips believers to overcome sin, sickness, and fear and to join in the mission of making disciples.
And now if we believe in the finished work of Christ that he did it for us, that the wages of sin is death, and now that we can we no longer have to be attached to sin. Sin no longer has power over us. Do you know that? Sin, is it powerful? Yes. But it doesn't have all power. It's not omnipotent. It doesn't have all power over you. Jesus took the power. Yes. Amen. He took the keys. He took the authority. That is called the faith

Do you realize that the work that he has for you is finished? We didn't get it till last week. It is finished. It is finished. That means it is complete. It is the faith. Everything that Jesus has done for us, he has finished it, and we are under the faith. And so this morning, we are under the Lord or we belong to the Lord, and we belong to the faith.

You know what the you know what the faith is? The gospel message. The faith. We are one body belonging to the one lord and we have one faith. The faith. So, when you say the faith, it is salvation through grace. It is the belief and the finished work of Christ. Do you realize that the work that he has for you is finished?

I'm not ready to do it. Then one day was like, no. I'm ready to receive everything that Jesus done for me. I am ready to be under the faith, under the one Lord, and be baptism into one baptism. What does that mean? That I'm making a public declaration of the evidence of my transformation. We've been transformed. We've been changed forever. Amen?

We are free in our bodies. We are free in our spirit, Lord. God, your word declares he who the son sets free is free indeed today, Lord. We're not bound to this earth. We're not bound to the things of this world. We're not bound about what people say and what the enemy says and what we even think of ourselves.
