“``Turn it up. You never gently receive the full promise that God has for you. I don't know why God does this, but sometimes God will give you something and then leave it in a condition where you gotta fight to have it. All my life, I had to fight. The problem is a lot of us think that by the giving of something, our receiving it is without adversity. But when God sends some of his greatest gifts, he does not wrap it in comfort. He wraps it in resistance. you cannot confuse God's promise with the absence of conflict. You got to know I'm here and everything that God has for me. If I got to stand here and curl my fist and squeeze my toes, I'm not moving because I'm a child of God, and what God has for me is worth fighting for.”

“Friends, you gotta have the audacity that believes God can do the impossible. think that's what this text is tailored to teach us. They're looking at giants in front of them, but I think this text is tailored to teach us that the greatest obstacle in your life is not the giant in front of you. It's the unbelief inside of you. There is a giant that can take you down, and it's not the Goliath that's looking at you. It's that unbelief that's growing inside of your heart. But I wanna do some heart surgery if I can. Let's cut out the unbelief today. Let's take the scalpel and go around it and say, I didn't seen God do too much. He has opened up red seas. He has sent locusts. He has done plagues. He has fed us with manna. He's done too much for me to believe that he cannot do this too. So”

“While that might not seem significant to some of you, let me suggest that this might be the very thing that God is saying to somebody here today. See to spy out the land is to ask the question, can we do it? Can we possess it? But God had already told them that it was going to be done. So God was not asking them to go in there and say, can we do it? God was asking them to go in there to figure out how we gonna do it. And a lot of Christians and a lot of churches stall at the promise of God in their lives, in your life because you're trying to figure out whether or not God can do it, that's never the question.”

“sometimes the truth itself is so good that it's frightening. Oh, I need a church in here. The greatness of God's promise is meant to awaken your faith, but if you're not careful, it will awaken fear. See, sometimes the thing that God wants to do is so magnificent that he has to hold it off until you are ready for it. Oh, preach Charlie Dacey. I'm doing it, and I'm doing the best I can. I told you when they come to this point, they're at the Wilderness Of Paran. They started off at the Wilderness Of Paran, but now they're back at the Wilderness Of Paran. They're in the Negev. They're in the southern portion of to right at the edge of the promised land. In other words, they are in a geographical position. They are in the geographically correct moment, but God wants to know are they in the spiritually right posture.”
