“God wants to do the same with you. You're looking at yourself in the wrong way. Romans eight one says, for therefore there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ. There is no condemnation. Condemnation is a building term. Those of you that are general contractor, condemnation means this building is of no use. Tear it down. Right? Whenever you're in Christ, all God Almighty sees is the righteousness of Christ that you're clothed in. You've received forgiveness of sin. You've been set free of those sins so that grace will lead you forward. Yeah. Maybe you were walking in faith and then you flopped. And now because you think you're a b teamer, you've set yourself on the sidelines. No more of that. It's time to reenlist. It's time to be recommissioned. It's time to see yourself the way that God sees you, forgiven, set free, and on the right path for an eternity. Don't let the things that you've done in this life keep you from living for God. God's forgiveness is available and his grace is sufficient.”

“Highs, lows. Faith flops but the beautiful thing is God then ushers in his forgiveness and that's the life of Peter. So welcome to the faith flops club. That's all of us at some point. If your story was I once was blind but now I see and then I went to college and I saw cross eyed for about four years and I got older and then I became all about me myself and I and everything that I was doing in my ways in my world and forgot about God and then all of a sudden you became nearsighted and you got some readers and then God came back into focus and welcome to the human condition.”

“``God sees you. He goes wherever you go. He understands what you're thinking. He sees what you're doing. Peter denied the Lord and so do Everyone in here has fallen short of the glory of God. Every one of us. by grace are we saved through faith. Every one of us in here have scars from decisions we've made, from things that we've done. But you're not defined by your scars, you're defined by his. There are many people in this room right now that have discounted yourself and put yourself on the sidelines because of the things you've done, the things you've said, the mistakes you've made in the past, and you've put yourself on the sideline believing that you're unforgivable, that you are not usable. God used Peter and you'll find in just a second, God redeemed him, rededicated him, and recommissioned him.”

“of us, listen, can either fail forward in faith or you can fall away in fear. Fail forward with Peter. Fail forward. The entire movement of the church was based and started in Jerusalem on him. After all that we just read, you can tell I am really into this because I'm in all those parts and pieces. Highs, lows, doubts, reframe, redo. But at the end of the day, however God has wired you, maybe you're this bold, impulsive, emotional leader. Some wives going, yeah, that's him. That's him. Maybe they're a quiet, creative, and thoughtful caregiver. However the Lord has wired you, he's enlisted you, he's called you into a transcendent, mind boggling, eternal work of grace, love, and mercy.”
