#FaithInRelationship
“Friends, that is the answer to disappointment. Not figure everything out, not make sure every outcome goes your way, not even try harder. Jesus says, believe in me because faith is not a transaction, it's a relationship. There's no guarantee about a future, but we know who guarantees the future. And that's when relationship is real. Jesus can say no, and I can still trust in him because I have a relationship with him. The door can close, and I can still trust him. The diagnosis can be bad, but I can still trust him. The prayer remain unanswered, but I can still trust in him. Why? Because my faith is not in the outcome, it's in the relationship. My faith is in the one who holds the outcome.”

#TrustNotTransaction
“You see, faith is not a formula. Prayer cannot be a leverage. Giving cannot be a leverage. Church attendance cannot be a leverage. Serving cannot be a leverage. Every good theology can become a leverage if we start thinking because I did this, now God must do this for me. It cannot work that way. It does not work that way. Faith does not and cannot manipulate God into doing something we want. Faith is about trust, and that's why faith is about relationships.”

#GodBeyondUnderstanding
“Solomon is telling us, you are not going to understand everything that happens to you. And there will be seasons when God does not explain himself. There will be questions that you carry as a believer for years. In fact, there may be even questions that you will carry to the grave, but that does not mean God is absent. Listen to this, my inability to explain God's work is not evidence of God's absence. It's actually, in fact, the evidence of my human limitation.”
