#WildernessRefines
“The Israelites were gonna go into the wilderness for forty years. God was with them, though. He stayed with them for forty years. He didn't abandon them for forty years. He was with them. He provided for them. He carried them. He stayed with them. So just because you're in a wilderness season don't mean God has abandoned you there, but it does mean you're gonna stay there for however long that consequence he has given us. Yes, sir. And here's the thing, God redeems, because I don't want it to be hopeless. God redeems, and you aren't what has to die in the wilderness. But your faithlessness does, your disobedience, and your rebellion does. Now he puts us in the wilderness season because he's trying to kill those things in us that put us there in the first place.”

#FaithNotMight
“But my point is when God says he would do something, it's not our might that is needed. It's our faith and obedience. And that was all that was needed for Israel to enter the promised land. Because after the forty year delay, if you remember, when the time they was at, they actually finally entered the promised land, All they did was march around and do some shouting, and it was over. Right? Why? Because it didn't depend on them. It was always gonna depend on god's might and god's power.”

#ChoicesHaveConsequences
“``We think forgiveness means no consequence. But me and my wife been telling people for years, you can pick your choices, but you don't get to control your consequences. And guess what? Once you end your consequence, you don't get to rush God out of it. If you remember later on, they tried to repent. No, God. We we my bad. We we gonna go. And Moses is like, don't go up there. God ain't with you. They ran up there anyway and got their butts whipped. Because once God put the consequence down, nobody can rush out of it. And we gotta understand that, yes, you're not condemned, but there's a quality of your life that will be affected by the choices that you make and the sin that you choose.”

#PromiseNotPerformance
“But notice that the recon work was not about them seeing if they can take the land. He never said, go and scout out the land to see if you can take it. He just said, go out and see what things are like because he had already promised them the land that I will give And I want us to understand something. Whenever God gives the language of something, will do. When God says he will give something or he will do something, that means that the promise is not dependent on our ability, but his promise and power. This is why even with Israel when he said, I will deliver you from Egypt. Right? It wasn't meant to be anything of their strength, their might, and their power. Right? It was all meaning that I will do this for you regardless of you.”
