The blood of Jesus stands alone. No other blood in all of history can do what His blood does. Jesus gave that blood as the Lamb who went to the cross, taking the mocking, the crown of thorns, the tearing whip, the spikes in His hands and feet, and the cruel death that left Him hardly looking human. Isaiah’s picture of the suffering Servant shows the cost. Christianity stands because Jesus died, gave His life, and rose so broken people could live.
