47s
“And when I wrote when I read that, I I couldn't put that thought down. I couldn't put the the the reality of what that spoke to me because some of us are in that kind of airplane right now in our life, in our walk with God. We haven't lost God. God hasn't run out of our lives. The word hasn't stopped being true. The holy ghost has not stopped being poured out. The fuel is not the problem. It's the connection. So say it with me. It's not the fuel. It's the connection. And that's what I wanna speak to you this morning on. It's not the fuel. It's the connection.”
44s
“I've realized since that the connection held me that night. The connection that held me that night was not built that night. It was built in an ordinary prayer room. It was built in an ordinary day that I came to church to pray for my future, for my kids, for a day that the church gathered to pray for our children and their children. When we sing those songs, that is what you're proclaiming. That is the connection that you're building with the almighty God. It is not built the day that you need it. It is built for the day you need it.”
53s
“I love how plain Jesus is in just speaking to us. He didn't say, without me, you'll do little or less. He said, without me, you can do nothing. There is no, like, translation you need to understand from that. The branch doesn't try hard to make grapes. If you've ever looked at a vine and you look at the branch and the vine, it's not the branch that does the heavy lifting here. It doesn't grit its teeth. The branch doesn't grit its teeth and strain. A branch does only one thing. It stays attached so that it can receive from what it's attached to and deliver to what it's producing.”
