#JoyIsMyRefuge
“``You listen to his word. He speaks to you. You respond in faith. You obey. It gives you joy, and the joy of the lord is your strength. The the the the amazing thing about this this word strength here, the joy of the lord is your strength. It's not doesn't mean your your energy, your physical strength. That word strength means a refuge. It means a stronghold. It means a fortress. It means a place you can run to for help. So the joy of the lord is your place you run to. The joy of the Lord is your refuge. The joy of the Lord is your safe place.”

#ComeToJesus
“And here we see Jesus opens up the word, and he comes not to condemn and to point out, but he comes to offer salvation. Comes to say, look, if you've been trying to do this on your own strength, your own wisdom, your own capacity that's not gonna work, come to me. I've come to set you free. I've come to bring you life. I've come to you life, and that's a savior that we have. And so I pray this morning that we would look to him. We look to Jesus, not to ourselves, but we look to God and say, God, would you give me courage? Would you give me faith? Would you give me the capacity, the willingness, Lord, to trust you when you speak to me, and I'll obey you in every area? Can I pray for us this morning as we just land?”

#ObedienceBringsJoy
“And their joy. There's a joy that comes from obeying There's a joy that comes when we're obedient to god. Nehemiah eight verses 10. We know the scripture, but you didn't know it was a Nehemiah. Right? For the joy of the lord is your strength. The joy of the lord is your strength. So I almost picture it like this. You come to god, and you open up his word, and you're saying, god, come and speak to me. You know what god does? He speaks to you, and you take what he says to you and you obey it. You do something about it. The bible says that as you obey him, he gives you joy. then the joy of the lord is your strength. And I think, personally, my thing is I think why we're not feeling that strong is because we haven't been obeying god.”

#FeedOnGodsWord
“It's like you're so hungry. You know, when you you ever been so hungry, you just eat junk. Right? That's that's mostly me after a Sunday meeting. I get home, and I'm so starving. I get into the I'm just chow off, half a packet of Maris, a samosa from last week, some jelly tots. I'm like, anything going. I'm so hungry. Right? We settle for rubbish. We can so easily settle for junk. We gotta get back to our hunger for what really satisfies us, and that's the word of God. And there's an invitation that God extends to us, to his people.”
