So yes, Nehemiah was praying and he was seeking God, but it wasn't the only thing he was doing. We sometimes say, well, I'm gonna let go and let God. I think it's actually it's it's it's trust God and get going. That's right. Don't trust god, but I gotta do something. I'm involved. Right?”

“I want to say be faithful in the fog. Be faithful in those moments where it's hard and you can't really see what God is doing. Just keep pressing in. Keep trusting God and ask him, okay, what do you want me to do while I'm waiting? What does the next step look like? Because it's it's important. A question I I want us to ask ourselves is or something I wanna say this morning is, don't just ask god when you will get out of the desert. Ask him what you will get out of the desert. Not just when. God's obviously wanting to work something in us while we're in that moment of waiting. So ask him, Lord, what are you wanting to teach me in this waiting period? Not just when I'm gonna get out of it. And there's obviously God has a reason why we're that moment of distrusting him and and in that those foggy moments. And so Nehemiah was faithful with what God had entrusted to him. Jesus said the following in Luke 16. He says, whoever can be trusted with very little can all be also be trusted with much. That that seemingly little sometimes that we we have, God calls us to be faithful with that little. So he can trust us, entrust us much.”

“Amen. So if you're in a waiting season right now, I don't know what we're all waiting for something, unanswered prayer. Ask God, Lord, what do you want me to do while I'm waiting? What do you want me to do while I'm waiting for you? You're praying for financial breakthrough. God wants you to get your house in order. Maybe you need to go talk to somebody about your finances. Maybe you need to start budgeting for example. This is a responsibility that we carry. As much as we trust in God, say Lord, I'm waiting. But what is God asking you to do? As you respond? So we pray. We are praying people. Pray continually. But while you're praying and you're waiting on God, ask him. Lord, what do you want me to do while I'm waiting for you?”
