36s
“Now I understand some of you are new to the faith, still learning, that's all good. Maybe you are uncertain where you fit, wondering how God can use you. We want to help you find your place in the body of Christ. We want to help that. So let me ask you something today. What are you doing with what God has entrusted to you? What are you doing? What are you doing with your time, with your gifts, with your influence, with your resources, with your opportunities?”
34s
“One of the great dangers in churches is that people begin to build ministries around themselves instead of around the mission of God. Beloved, my heart is heavy for families with special needs, kids. I've told you this a couple times already and I'm gonna keep harping on it. We need another building. I wanna reach families who are struggling. You know the number one ministry that is ignored in churches,”
35s
“Folks, if we take seriously what God is calling Buckingham to do, we're gonna need a bigger boat. Amen. And you know where that comes from? Every single one of us. Every single one of us. Pastor one time said, he says, you know, there's good news and bad news. He says, good news is the church has all the money that we will ever need to do all the ministry God wants us to do. Bad news is it's in your pockets. Right?”
32s
“Everybody who is born again by the spirit of God is called to full time ministry, full time Christian service, full time following Jesus Christ. Now there's a difference between vocational ministry and, you know, that's different. God called me into vocational ministry, but we're all full time ministers. Some of the greatest ministers I have ever met in my life never drew a paycheck from a church. Doing amazing things. Ministering outside the four walls of the church.”
