Jesus has already shown what a citizen of heaven looks like, what a transformed heart looks like, and why righteousness cannot be practiced just so people can see it. Jesus has spoken about anger, lust, divorce, oaths, retaliation, loving enemies, giving to the needy, prayer, anxiety, judging others, and asking, seeking, and knocking. All of that now leads to two roads, two gates, and one choice.
