“``God never intended for God's people to live from depletion but from divine overflow. God never intended for us to merely to survive from one crisis to the next, Constantly running on empty, emotionally exhausted, spiritually dry, and physically worn down. Instead, god invites us into a relationship where god's presence continually renews, strengthens, and feels. When the psalmist declares, my cup runneth over, he was not he was describing more than material abundance. The psalmist was testifying to a life saturated in god's goodness, god's mercy, and god's grace. The overflowing cup is a picture of god's providence, provisions exceeding our immediate needs.”

“``He is not speaking from a theological classroom. He is speaking from his life experience. David knows what it means to be pursued, misunderstood, and attacked. All too often, beloved, we spend too much time on people who don't like us. Amen, reverend. We give too much energy to our enemies. We give too much credence to our haters. I've heard it said many years ago that our challenge is not to keep our eyes on our enemies Yeah. But to keep our eyes on the table. Let God deal with your enemies and keep your eye on the table. Focus on the blessing, not the haters. You still with me? Your enemies can only function at divine permissive will. Your enemies cannot stop God's divine blessing. Your enemies cannot stop not one thing that God has intended for you.”

“``He's communicating that when my cup overflows, working, that God not only fills my cup, but God overflows my cup. Let let me help you. Now here's the next part of that, is to understand that the God who filled the cup yesterday is the same God who fills it today. yesterday you were drinking from the cup. Amen. Now the cup is half empty. Now God fills the cup again. You still with me? And it overflows. See the overflow means that it is the meticulous anticipation that God knows what you need before you ever tell God what you need.”

“``Now why would God do such a thing? Because it's off of the overflow that the people in your house are blessed. It's off the overflow that your wife and your children and your loved ones are blessed. It's of the overflow that your church and your community and your nation are blessed. It's of the overflow. You have more than enough that you need that God gives you the overflow. I've said in the past, everything that comes through you is not meant for you. It's designed as an overflow to be a blessing to somebody else.”
