#HonorYourMother
“``How do you praise a mother? You do it with your mouth. You do it through your actions. You do it with words of gratitude and with words of love. You do it with deeds of gratitude. You do it with constant remembrance. You do it with gifts of love. And I'll tell you this. When you praise and honor your mother, you are also praising and honoring your god. If you're fortunate enough to still have your mother around, be sure that you honor her for who she is.”

#GratefulForMom
“If you were to write a tribute of praise to your mother this morning or today, what would you write? I'm not sure where I'd start, but I think I'd probably start with thank you, god. And then to my mother, I'd probably say something like thank you for everything. Thank you for loving me when I may not have been all that lovable. Thank you for loving me when maybe I didn't deserve it all that much. That's just something that a good mother does, and it's a quality, a godly quality that we see in our mothers because it flows from God through them to us.”

#MomsSacrifice
“Mothers never cease to amaze me. Doesn't matter what part of the world they're from. It doesn't matter. The wiring is virtually the same in most of them. We've probably all known mothers who will go without certain things. Maybe they rarely buy clothes or accessories or anything else for themselves, but they strive to make sure that their children have everything they need. It's one thing for a mom to forego dessert so there's enough for all the kids to have some, but to go without food entirely so the rest of the family can eat.”

#HonorParents
“Now the bible says in what's called the 10 commandments, one of them says that we're supposed to honor our mother and our father. Now that word to honor basically means that we're supposed to love them and respect them and treat them good. Right? And if we do, when we treat our moms really good and our dads really good, we're also honoring God. We're showing God that we love him, and we're sending God a thank you card saying, thank you, God, for my mom.”
