“``When I was a little boy, my daddy told me something. He told me a lot of things, but he said, son, if you wanna go to drink of water, go to the head of the spring. I I really believe there's something to that and who is the head of the spring if you got a problem? Where's the place to go, brother Steve? Jesus. That's where this woman went. That's where I need to go. That's where you need to go with all your burdens and all your cares.”

#PrayFirst
“I tell you what, some mothers do. They get em a big, thick King James Bible and they just beat em over the head of that big, thick Bible. Does that work? That's not a Bible. That's the baptist hymnal but that'd be bad enough. Some people nag and cajole and plead and urge and beg their kids to do right and they still don't do right. So, what's left? What this woman do, brother Jimmy? Pray. You know, that shouldn't be the last resort. That ought to be our first resource. Pray.”

“It's greater than any influence that you might have on the national, the international scene. I really believe that there would be no greater compliment that Jesus could give anybody than saying, your faith is great. Woman, your faith is great. Then he said, let it be done for you as you want. Great faith prayer, answer. It worked for that woman. It's worked for me. Does that ever work for you? I think it would. I recommend you try it.”

#FaithIsCaught
“But that daughter didn't come to Jesus She's the one had the problem but the daughter didn't come. Somebody interceded on her behalf. I don't know what happened to the daughter but I do know that she was healed. I wanna think that when her mother got to her, that she told her all about the situation and how it came about and she trusted Jesus also. But I do know the mother had faith. And oftentimes, faith is better caught than taught. Oh, woman, your faith is great.”
