#DesertShaped
“``God can use the hidden things in your heart to shape you and he can use the desert season to really train you. I live in a desert for the past years before we moved here. You know what desert taught me? Lots of things. it's hot. Shade is awesome. What? And wear sunscreen. Yeah. What desert taught me this, the desert season, there's beauty even in the desert. God has put you in a place that might be a hard season to be in, but you look back and go, oh, God had a reason for this, to shape me to go on to the next phase. If you're in a desert season right now, ask God to say, Lord help me see what you're doing to me so I can be ready for what's next.”

#TentOfMeeting
“So the question I have for you is, do you have a tent of meeting? Do you have a place that you've designated, this is my place where I go meet with God? And I want you to know that this place isn't it. This is a place where we meet with each other and with God. I want you to find a tent of meeting in your house somewhere or somewhere where you can spend time with God and just lay it all bare with him. Get out of the chaos. Because if you're like me, if I try to make a tent and meeting in my house, you know what happens? I'll be distracted. There's gonna be always something gone. There's gonna be a mess to clean up and question to answer. Find a place where you can get alone with God daily and spend that time with him.”

#GodUsesTheUnqualified
“So God uses the unqualified. Moses offers excuse after excuse providing he finally realizes his own inadequacy. Do you ever feel inadequate? I think all of us do. It is part of who we are, we just feel inadequate. God doesn't see you that way. God has never seen you as inadequate. You go, I created you to be who you are in this right place in the right time so you can be my servant.”

#QuickToListenSlowToSpeak
“I will tell you something strong here, if you let anger rule you, you will hurt everybody around you. Anger is so damaging and some of you are thinking, well pastor, what about righteous anger? You'll know when it's time for righteous anger. It's not just anger, I'm anger because I want you to do what I want you to do. But I love that he start James the writer starts off, be quick to listen and slow to speak. If all of us became quick to listen and slow to speak, we would solve, I would think 90% of our fights. Be quick to listen and slow to speak. Because oftentimes, I don't know, we're all some of us are married here, some of are not. Most of the fights you get in because you wanna be heard not versus hearing.”
