#JesusOverTheStorm
“Hope, sirs, don't miss this. The disciples were facing a storm that was more than they could handle, but not more than Jesus can handle. And the same is true for you and I. There will be storms in this life that you and I go through that will feel like it's more than I can take. It's more than I can handle. whatever storm you're walking through, it is never bigger than the Jesus you are trusting in. See, God may allow more than you can handle, but never more than he can.”

#GraceIsSufficient
“Hopesters, I don't know why God heals some people and and doesn't heal others. I don't know why God answers some prayers, and then he doesn't answer others in the way that we want. Here's the only thing I can tell you. His grace is sufficient. grace is sufficient. power, his authority, his presence is enough. so God may allow more than you can handle, but never more than he can.”

#ItsOkayNotToBeOkay
“I wanna set some people free this morning. Listen. You can love Jesus and still feel overwhelmed. Paul did. Man, you can have faith and still experience a little bit of fear. Man, you can trust god and still walk through seasons of uncertainty. It's okay to not be okay as a follower of Jesus. Because, again, he tells us, man, we're gonna have hard seasons in this world. We're gonna walk through disappointment. We're gonna have to endure discouragement. Maybe for some of us, we're gonna have to suffer.”

#GodIsBigger
“So here's the reality. Here's the truth of it all. Here's the statement I want to remember. That God may allow you or God may allow more than you can handle, but never more than he can. Let me say that one more time. That in this life, in this world, God may allow you to go through certain hardships and tribulations and setbacks where it feels like it's more than you can handle. It'll never be more than he can.”

#FindRestInJesus
“No. Jesus says, man, if you're here this morning and you feel like you're walking through a storm, that's more than you can take. If you are weary and tired and burdened and at the end of your rope, I want you to come to me. I want you to trust in me. I want you, as we learned in second Corinthians, I want you to depend on a God who raises the dead. And if you do that, Jesus' promise is in him you will find peace. In him, you will find rest.”

#KeepItReal
“Paul was honest. He didn't try to pretend that everything was going okay. He didn't try to act strong for everybody else. See, I think there's a big misconception in Christian circles that as Christians, we feel like we have to have it all together. That as Christians, we feel like we always have to have a smile on our face. That as Christians, we always have to respond when someone says, hey, how are you? I'm blessed and highly highly favored. Even though there's, a dumpster fire going on in your life behind you. We we have this false facade of trying to mask our problems because we're Christians and we're supposed to be good and happy and perfect.”

#DependOnGod
“And so Paul says, man, this is the lesson we learned in God allowing us to walk through this hardship. We learned in that moment that I'm not strong enough. I learned in that moment that God is not asking me to be all powerful. That's his job. I learned in that moment not to rely on my own strength, but to rely and depend on a God who raises the dead.”

#PrayWithoutCeasing
“And you know what happens when you live with this attitude of you're self sufficient in yourself that you're strong strong enough to handle anything that life throws your way? What ends up happening when you feel like, god, I've got this is that you only pray then when you really need something. You only get in God's word when you have extra time. You only worship him when it's convenient. And you don't pray out of desperation. You don't read his word out of dependency like, God, I need you. You don't worship him like, God, I need to fill your presence or else I can't go on.”
