#DependOnGodsPower
“``The Christian life has never been about how capable we are my friends. It's about how powerful our God is and what he can do through us. The question is not, am I enough? But the question is, am I depending to the one who is? Because when we stop relying on ourselves and start depending on God, our weaknesses no longer become an obstacle. It becomes the very place where God could display his own power. And that is when we begin to see beyond our circumstances.”

#GloryToGodNotUs
“God intentionally works through ordinary and weak people so that no one would mistake where the power comes from. When lives are transformed, when people come to faith to Christ, when believers remain faithful through suffering, when the church continues to grow and advance, the glory does not belong to the messenger. It belongs to God. Because the power has never been in the vessel, the power has always been in the treasure.”

#TrustGodsPurpose
“But don't let our present suffering become our entire perspective. Remember that God sees what we cannot. He sees the people who may one day be strengthened by your faithfulness. He already sees the testimony that your perseverance is giving to those around you. And he sees the eternal fruits that your present suffering is producing right now. We may not understand everything God is doing today, but we can trust that our suffering is never meaningless in his hands. So don't let your present suffering become larger than God's greater purpose. Because even when our circumstances don't make sense, God's purposes, it will never stop.”

#GodSeesTheWholeStory
“We see one moment, God sees the whole story. He sees the entire landscape. He sees from beginning to the end. He sees how every joy, every sorrow, every delay, every detour, and every trial fits perfectly into his good and sovereign plan. And one day, whether in this life or when we stand before Jesus Christ, we will finally see what we cannot fully see today. We'll understand that every step, every valley, every climb, every road was never wasted. But until then, don't let visible weakness keep you from relying on God's surpassing power. Don't let present suffering keep you from trusting God's greater purpose. And don't let what is temporary cause you to lose sight of what is eternal. Because brothers and sisters, there's more than meets the eye.”

#EternityOverAmbition
“Maybe today, our thoughts are consumed by getting that promotion, finding that right job, saving more money, getting accepted into your dream school, maybe buying the next house, the next car, or achieving that next milestone. Those things are not wrong, but they were never meant to become the center of our lives. Paul is not asking us to ignore the realities that we face today. He is asking us to view it beyond in the light of eternity. Our present circumstances are real but they are not the ultimate. Our suffering is temporary, but God's glory is eternal. Our earthly achievements will one day fade, but what is done for Christ will last forever.”

#LookBeyondTheSeen
“Paul places two realities side by side here. Temporary affliction and the eternal glory that we get. When eternity becomes the lens through which we view our life, our present suffering is put into its proper perspective. Then Paul tells us how he lived with that perspective in verse 18, which is the last verse. While we do not look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. Paul is not telling us to ignore the reality of our lives today. He is telling us not to be governed by it. Because the things which are seen are temporary, but the things which are not seen are eternal.”

#FixEyesOnEternal
“So let me ask you, what has been occupying your heart lately? Are your eyes fixed on what is temporary or on what is eternal? You know, one day when we stand before Christ, many of the things that we consume that consume us today will no longer matter. But our faithfulness, our obedience, our love for Christ, and the people that we have pointed back to him. Those things, my friends, will endure forever through eternity. So until that day, let me encourage us to fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. Not on what is temporary, but on what is eternal.”

#BeyondTheVessel
“Let me ask you. What has been capturing your attention lately? Is it your weakness, your limitations, your failures, or maybe your fears, or even your present circumstances that you are in right now? Maybe you're saying to yourself, I'm not strong enough. I'm not gifted enough. I've failed too many times in life, and I don't think God can use someone like me. If that is where you are today, you are looking at the earthen vessel. But God wants us to look beyond the vessel to the treasure that is within, to the surpassing power that only belongs to him.”
