#StopStealingTime
“Too many times, we don't even realize that we're stealing. Say, I'm I'm I'm I'm let's give you this example. Your shift starts at nine, you get there at nine to the parking lot. make it inside at 09:04. You put your stuff on your desk, and you go to the break room to get coffee. You see if somebody brought a Krispy Kreme donut, and by the time you get to your desk at 09:22 church, we just stole twenty two minutes from our employer.”

#ConvictionNotCondemnation
“And some of you in this building today or watching online, the holy spirit has started to bring you some conviction, not condemnation, conviction saying, hey. This that you were doing the way that you were stealing from man or from your employee or from the government or whatever, this that you were doing is wrong. And the holy spirit has brought you the conviction. So what you're gonna do now when we begin to worship is say, God, I repent for breaking your law. I repent for breaking this commandment. I'm gonna stop stealing from this. I'm gonna stop stealing the time. I'm gonna stop stealing the pen. I'm gonna stop stealing the sticky note. I'm gonna stop stealing the stapler. I mean, I'm giving you practical things that happen. I'm gonna stop stealing the time.”

#TrustGodTithe
“``And we try to justify robbing god. I can't afford to tithe. No, Bubble. You can't afford not to. Because when you tithe, returning to god that first 10 of your increase according to scripture, what you are saying is, God can do more with 90% left in my house than if I keep all 100. Sabbath is saying, god can lead me to have a more productive six day work week by resting one, is trusting in god for that than working all seven days. Tithing is saying, god, I trust you enough that with 90, you can stretch it so much further than if I kept the whole 100.”

#GuardYourHeart
“Your heart posture. He said from your heart come the evil thoughts. From your heart comes the adultery, the fornication, the sexual immorality. From your heart comes the lying. From your heart comes the stealing. It's a heart posture. It's a heart posture. So church, as Proverbs four twenty three tells us, above all things, guard your heart for from it springs life. We need to guard our hearts. You wanna start living a life that is right for God and honoring all of his commands? Guard your heart. Because the heart and we say things all the time, like, well, you know, I just gotta live it out of my heart. This is what I felt in my heart. This is what I felt no. No. No. The heart is deceitful, as the bible says. So we can't follow the heart. That's not a verse anywhere out there. Follow your heart is not a verse.”

#JustifiedByChrist
“The only true justification that we receive, and it's the verse the word that the Bible uses, is when Jesus has died on the cross, paid the price for our sin. When we repent and we receive Jesus, we are washed, we are sanctified, and we are justified because he paid the price for a penalty. So because the word was the same but in two different contexts, as a man, I can't justify my sin. I can't justify my stealing. Because we hear that all the time. Oh, they stole because they didn't have enough money. No. We got they they we have to understand why they did it. There's no justifying it. Stealing is stealing.”

#RepentStopSinning
“if any of these different things were something you used to do before Jesus or even still now as a follower of Jesus, the scripture says, just don't do it anymore. We repent, but then if you were a thief, stop stealing. If you were cheating on your taxes every year, stop cheating on your taxes. If you were stealing time from your employer, stop stealing time from your employer. If you were double dipping into certain things, stop. And the temptations may come, but we stop living this way.”

#SmallTheftsMatter
“It's back to school. My kid needs red pen. Staples sells it in packs of 12. What am I going to do with the other 11? My employer, they'll never know that I took a red pen from the storage room to send with my kid. But God does. Too many times we think of the theft, we think of stealing as breaking and entering, which is theft. We think of somebody who went in and robbed the bank. But it's become so second nature to us to just grab because, you know, Robin Hood said it, you steal from the rich to give to the Lord. Yeah. He's violating the commandment. We say things like, well, they'll never miss it. They have so much, they won't even know it's not there. But god knows.”

#TitheToGod
“God is the god and the owner of the cattle on a thousand hills, it says in the book of psalms. God owns everything. And what you and I receive, it all really belongs to him, and tithing is returning to god what is his. What is the tithe? Scripturally, tithe comes from the number 10. It is a tenth of your increase, which belongs to god and goes to your storehouse to the storehouse, to the church you are a part of. I'm a give you an example.”
