The weight of suffering often leaves us speechless before God. In those moments, the Holy Spirit steps into the gap, translating our raw anguish into prayers that align with God’s purposes. His groans mirror our deepest needs, not with polished phrases but with the urgency of a parent pleading for their child. This intercession isn’t a distant ritual—it’s the Spirit entering our chaos, bridging the gap between our frailty and heaven’s throne. His help isn’t contingent on our eloquence but on His relentless commitment to carry us home. [08:07]

Paul grounds Christian hope in the fact that suffering is real, sin is heavy, and life in a fallen world brings groaning. Creation groans, believers groan, and even the Spirit groans. No child of God will cross into glory and say it was not worth it.

The good that he's talking about is our sanctification that we saw. And next week, gonna get into verse 29, to be conformed into the image of his son. That's the goal. That's the end. That God is working all things together for your sanctification, which ultimately ends in glory with the Lord.”
