#PrideLeadsToFall
“Do you remember the sad story in Luke eighteen ten through 14? The Pharisee and the publican, let me remind you, in Luke eighteen eleven, the Pharisee stood and prayed thus within himself and said this, God, I thank thee, well, that's a blessing, that I am not as other men, that's called pride and arrogance, extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this publican. In Proverbs six eighteen, the bible says, pride goeth before destruction and a haughty spirit before a what? A fall. Friend, mark it straight, mark it down in your heart. Win America. And when we as believers in Jesus Christ who are grateful to be called Americans ever think we can make it one second without God, friend, we have just lost the battle.”

#WalkHumbly
“Humbly. Humbly. Now this morning, I wanna ask you this morning, are you a humble Christian? Don't do high fancy out loud. What do you mean by humble, pastor? I mean by humility. What does humility mean, father? Everything I have belongs to you. Everything you've blessed me with has cometh from your hands. The roof over my head is because of you. The shoes on my feet is because of you. The clothes on my back is because of you. The food in the refrigerator is because of you. The ice cream in the refrigerator is because of you. Do I have a witness? And the cool whip to go with strawberries is because of you. The job that I go to is because of you. The freedom of America is because of you. Lord, we walk humbly before you because we realize, Lord, that if you take your hand off from us, all the favor, all the blessings are quickly gone away. Lord, with you, we are totally dependent upon you and without you, we are totally nothing.”

#StayWithTheBook
“Can you imagine this morning, the God, the covenant God of Israel, looking over the balcony of heaven this morning as we have celebrated and continue to celebrate all that God has bestowed upon America, can you imagine the land that we can can can could continue to be when we stay with the book? Stay with the bible, stay with the principles and precepts of the bible. And I say this, if you and I are so desperate, and we are, to have the favor and the blessings of God upon this land, may we never equivocate or may we never ever take for granted the author of the Bible and the principles in the Bible.”

#DoJustly
“And during the days of Micah, if you go back and read the contextual history of this text, the rich were stealing from the poor. There was injustice, it was a day when people were being very unhospitable to those who were less fortunate. God exhorted his people then to be fair and noble with all people. Treat people with godly respect. Regardless of one's present situation, people are precious to God and we as believers in Jesus need to regard people as valuable in God's precious sight. Listen to Micah six eight. What does the Lord require of thee but to do justly? You know what that really means? Be fair. Be fair. Be honest in your daily affairs. In Isaiah one seventeen, the bible says, learn to do well, seek judgment, relieve the oppressed, relieve those who are fatherless, plead for the widow. Do you know this morning, it matters to God how we treat people and how we treat one another?”
