#GodIsEternal
“Just think for a minute what that means. Literally, it means that God was, and always will be. He and he alone is the eternally existent one. You know, you and I are very temporary. We're here today, gone tomorrow. Right? When you get a little older like me, you'll understand how short a time we have on this earth. But the name we know God best by is Jesus, or in Hebrew, Yahshua. And what Jesus means literally means is Yahweh saves. saves. What an appropriate name for god. For in Jesus, our god, Yahweh is saving us by going to that hell cross in Jerusalem and suffering the hell we deserve. Yahweh saves.”

#NamesAreSacred
“You know, what's the big deal about God's name? Why is God so concerned about his name? So concerned that he would demand that we never, not even once, misuse it. Many years ago, there was a lady in one of my confirmation classes, inquirers classes, we call them, And she explained it this way. She told me that when she was a little girl, if someone did something mean to her, you know, another classmate, she would take a piece of paper and write their name on it and just scribble it. Simply put, she felt the person and their name were one and the same. So in her mind, whatever she did to that person's name, was she doing to that person. So it is with god, where god and his name are one. God's name is precious to him. So when you are abusing his name, you're abusing God. Let me say that again. When you are abusing God's name, you're abusing God himself.”
