#HandsOfGrace
“Yet he's serving every person. Instead he gives the bread to the disciples and he says, you go distribute it. You set it before the people. That's the picture of the hands of Jesus. Serving the people into the compassion of Jesus. And in the hands of the disciples, Jesus now is exalted. And so the miracle to the people, listen, didn't bypass the disciples. The miracle actually involved the disciples. It goes through the hands of the disciples. What a powerful picture of how Jesus is not only gracious and not only compassion towards us, but he came to beat meet the deepest needs in us so that we might show the grace and the compassion of Jesus to others. That is the whole flow of mission. God desires followers of Jesus to be an extension of the grace of Jesus and the compassion of Jesus in the lives of the multitudes of people for the glory Jesus. I want you to just pause and think about that for just a moment.”

#PassionSpeaks
“``People will talk about whatever is passionate to them. Right? Grandparents can't help talking about their grandkids. I I mean, how many grandparents have gone to training how to talk to other people about their grandkids? Is there a class that you could take at the local library on that? Or I mean, you just hang around grandparents, and you're gonna hear pictures and stories and and celebrations on who their grandkids are and how great they are because they're so close to their heart. Because it's what's on their mind. It's what's what's in their life. And what's in your heart, and what's in your mind, and what's in your life will naturally be in your mouth. It will come out and you'll talk about Jesus. When Jesus is in that place, he will come out and you will share him with others.”

#TrustJesusToMultiply
“don't think for a second. Oh, man. So many herding, there's so many sheep without shepherd. What can I do? I mean I have so little. I only have five loaves and two fish. There's so many people. There's Look at all the people that are hungry. And don't say don't say I only have this little cup of water yet all of these people are so thirsty. Today I wanna remind you, you're sitting on the edge of the ocean. And Jesus is ready to meet the deepest needs, not just in your life but through your life. And let me tell you how that works. Because anything and everything that you place in the hands of Jesus will never be wasted but always multiplied.”

#LifelongMission
“I don't know if you've ever thought about this. But when we get to heaven, we won't be leading people to Jesus anymore. What I mean by that is there's only a small amount of time that God has given us, has placed us, has called us, and commissioned us to tell people about Jesus. We we we won't be sharing the gospel of Jesus in heaven anymore. They won't need me to stand up and preach and open the word anymore. I will not preach any sermons in heaven. I guarantee you that. We'll be celebrating though. We'll be celebrating the good news of Jesus forever and ever. And so while we're here, while God has given us breath in our lungs, we are to use that breath to tell others about the glory of Jesus so that on that day when we stand before Jesus, we will gather with friends and families and neighbors and coworkers celebrating all that Jesus has done in our life. And so here's my point. Is that if you're a follower of Jesus, you are on a lifelong missions trip.”

#MissionFromIntimacy
“So life on mission, in the name of Jesus, is the overflow of our relationship with Jesus. Now listen, your relationship with Jesus will increase as you live your life on mission, but this life on mission is actually the overflow of what you do in private with Jesus. When you're praying, spending time with your heavenly father, when you're being ministered to, and you're wrestling with your sin in the desolate place with Jesus, only then will you feel equipped and power to go out and share the good news of Jesus. Yes, he's given me forgiven. Yes, he's given me grace. Yes, he's given me mercy. And because I've spent time with Jesus, I know he can do the same thing for you.”

#ShareBreadAndGospel
“So when we come to him and we share the bread of life with the world and those around us, we share it so their soul won't be hungry. It will be satisfied. So they come and believe in him so their soul won't be thirsty but rather be satisfied. And so Jesus says, there is a better bread than this. There's a bread that doesn't leave you hungry. There's a better bread from heaven that I can give you and so the crowds, they're consumed with a physical problem, yet they neglect the eternal problem. And so listen to me friends. If you have compassion like Jesus, and you begin to share and meet the physical needs like Jesus, don't forsake the eternal need who is Jesus. We have to share the good news as much as we share the good bread. Jesus is the bread of life. Jesus did not come to give you a temporary treasure, but he came to be treasured forever. He is the bread.”

#ShepherdSaves
“And as a result, the sheep just wanders off. Now let me ask you. What happens to a sheep who wanders away from the shepherd? He gets eaten by the wolves. He gets stuck in a rut and dies. And here's what's crazy is the bible says, is that as sheep who've wandered away from God, we can't even find our way home. Like the bible describes us as sheep as lost, blind. At some point it says in the scriptures throughout the scriptures that we are dead in our sins. But Jesus saw us like a sheep without a shepherd, dead in our sins. In Romans five it says that God demonstrates his great love for his sheep that while we were lost, while we were blind, while we were dead, Jesus came and died for his sheep.”

#JesusIsSatisfaction
“Only Jesus can do that. Jesus is saying God hasn't just sent bread to his people, he sent eternal life to his people through me, the bread of life. One day, Jesus will return. And he'll gather again all of his people at his table from every tribe, every tongue, and every nation, and on that day, Jesus will provide everything we need. And in this day, he will provide everything we need. The whole point is that Jesus is able to meet the deepest needs. With the things of this world, you'll only be hungry again. But in Jesus, you'll never be hungry. Jesus came to live for you, he came to die for you, he came to rise for you, he came to forgive you, he came to redeem you. Every wayward sheep he calls back to himself.”
