God is both loving and powerful, and even when we do not see immediate answers to our prayers for healing or miracles, we can trust that He is at work and that all things we long for are ultimately waiting for us in heaven. Sometimes, God releases miracles into our present, and other times, He asks us to wait, but our faith is not in vain—He delights in our persistent prayers and in our trust that He knows the perfect timing. Even when we feel discouraged or think our faith is too small, God’s power is not limited by our understanding or our feelings; He is able to do what seems impossible, and every prayer brings us closer to the day of fulfillment. [12:10]
Isaiah 53:5 (ESV)
But he was pierced for our transgressions; he was crushed for our iniquities; upon him was the chastisement that brought us peace, and with his wounds we are healed.
Reflection: Is there a miracle or healing you have stopped praying for because you felt discouraged or doubted God’s power? What would it look like to bring that request to God again today, trusting in His love and timing?
The direction of your heart follows the direction of your giving; when you invest your resources in God’s kingdom, your heart is drawn closer to Him and to His purposes. Even the smallest act of generosity can change your spiritual trajectory, breaking the grip of self-centeredness and opening your life to God’s work. The enemy will try to convince you that your little doesn’t matter, but every gift, no matter the size, is significant in God’s eyes and marks a step toward a more generous, God-focused life. [15:24]
Matthew 6:21 (ESV)
For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.
Reflection: What is one small, specific act of generosity you can do today—even if it feels insignificant—to begin turning your heart more fully toward God and His kingdom?
God delights in our plans, especially when we start with what He has already placed in our hands, no matter how small it may seem. Rather than waiting for a future abundance, begin with the resources, talents, or opportunities you have right now, committing them to God and trusting Him to establish your steps. When you faithfully steward what you have, you open the door for God to do more than you could imagine, and your journey of generosity begins with a single, faithful step. [18:41]
Proverbs 16:3 (ESV)
Commit your work to the Lord, and your plans will be established.
Reflection: What is one resource, skill, or opportunity God has already given you that you can use today to serve others or advance His kingdom, even if it feels small?
God invites us to have a vision for generosity that goes beyond our current circumstances, to write it down, and to pray in faith for Him to provide what is in His hands. When you articulate your vision and bring it before God, you are expressing faith that He is able to do more than you can do on your own, and you position yourself to receive from His abundance. This is not just wishful thinking—it is a spiritual discipline that aligns your heart with God’s purposes and opens you to His miraculous provision. [22:00]
Habakkuk 2:2 (ESV)
And the Lord answered me: “Write the vision; make it plain on tablets, so he may run who reads it.”
Reflection: What is a specific vision for generosity or service that you sense God is stirring in your heart? Take time today to write it down and pray for God to provide what is needed to fulfill it.
God is able to do far more than we ask or imagine, and He invites us to dream big dreams for His glory, believing that He can use us to make a significant impact. When you dare to dream beyond your own limitations and trust God for the impossible, you step into a life of adventure and purpose, seeing Him provide in ways you never expected. Let your dreams for generosity and kingdom impact be as bold as your faith, knowing that God delights in exceeding your expectations for His purposes. [22:00]
Ephesians 3:20 (ESV)
Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us,
Reflection: What is one “impossible” dream for God’s kingdom that you have been afraid to pray for or pursue? What step can you take today to bring that dream before God and trust Him to do more than you can imagine?
Today’s focus is on the adventure of living a generous life, rooted in faith and expectation of God’s miraculous provision. The journey began with a personal testimony of God’s power to heal, as my son was miraculously delivered from autism after years of prayer and disappointment. This experience taught me that God’s power is not diminished by our waiting, and that miracles are simply the early release of what Christ has already secured for us in heaven. We are invited to ask boldly, trusting God’s timing, and to never grow weary in prayer—even when the answer seems delayed.
Generosity is not reserved for the wealthy, but is a calling for all who desire to align their hearts with God’s purposes. The principle is simple: where your treasure is, your heart will follow. Even the smallest act of giving changes the direction of your life, turning your focus from self to God’s kingdom. The enemy’s lie is that your little doesn’t matter, but in God’s economy, every gift is significant because it represents a step of faith and a shift in allegiance.
To cultivate a generous life, I encourage a threefold approach: plan, vision, and dream. Start with a plan—what has God already placed in your hands? Use it faithfully, no matter how small. Then, develop a vision—ask God what He could do through you if He entrusted you with more. Write it down, pray over it, and let it stretch your faith. Finally, dare to dream—imagine what God could accomplish beyond your wildest expectations, for His glory and the expansion of His kingdom.
Real-life stories from our church and others illustrate how this approach leads to supernatural provision and impact. From a teenager who gave far beyond his means, to business owners who moved from giving thousands to millions, the pattern is the same: start small, trust God for more, and watch Him multiply your faithfulness. The world dreams big for itself; how much more should we, as God’s people, dream big for His kingdom? Let’s live generously, pray boldly, and expect God to do exceedingly abundantly above all we ask or think.

By the way just because you don't see it doesn't mean God is not powerful okay all right you need to hear that but I'm confessing that's how I was living and one day there was a visiting pastor and he said at the end of service hey is there anything we could pray for and I was going to pray for church growth you know future campuses something like that and my wife goes our son has autism and we want to see him healed and I'm thinking where did that come from like that's we kind of gave up on that one but how many know you're not going to get in front of mom when she says that right. You're acknowledging you're saying God I know where I am but I'm asking for what you paid for okay I'm asking for what you paid for and then I'm saying God could you bring what's waiting in heaven into my now okay now we can pray in faith believing for our miracle we because it's coming and and when we're believing for the miracle we're just appropriating appropriating means to make yours so we're saying I want what's there and I'm making it mine now do you control the release date you don't God controls the release date and that's why it's called a miracle. Sometimes my kids would ask me for ice cream right before dinner and I'm still a loving dad but I know that ice cream has to wait until after dinner and so I say not now they might get angry they didn't understand that I knew better than them of when it was time for ice cream and I know you're healing you're like well my healing is more than ice cream I get it but I'm just trying to illustrate that we have to trust God that he knows the time for our miracle he knows and if you don't get it on earth you will get it in heaven and every day you live you can wake up and say God today would be a great day for a miracle. I used to think that God had like a pie and he was giving out blessings and I had to prove how I was better than you and if you got blessed I'd get jealous because you got a bigger slice of pie and God's like I am not serving out pie I've got more I'm the God of the expanding universe so I talk about that in there I talk about how giving is a muscle the more you use it the stronger it gets some of you are being held down because you're not working out spiritually and financially so that's all in there. We say this at our church the tithe keeps the church alive that's what he said I like that it rhymes you know the tithe keeps the church alive everything we do everything we do it's just it starts there and the tithe keeps the church alive and going forward and a lot of people don't like to talk about it because they want a church that's not very alive and so we start there we say God we're going to tithe there and we're going to honor you with this we're going to start there and then on top of that we're going to be generous. The moment you stop and even give even 10 pounds five pounds anything you've changed your direction towards the things of God and so he doesn't want you to do this because generosity is so powerful that once you get started on the journey so many things open up in your life and so the enemy just says don't even start so can I speak to anybody that's never given you think I have so little it doesn't matter it does it matters it changes the direction and you think well it's for rich people no no this is for generous people. [00:17:09] (29 seconds) #FaithForMore
I've seen rich people that are not generous this is for people that are going to change the direction on how they're going to live I learned it from a bill collector I was preaching this and this bill collector said you know that's so true I said what he goes where your treasure is their heart is and I was like from bill collecting you got that and he said yeah he said if somebody's running from a bill and they owe us ten thousand dollars we call them and they say I can't pay ten thousand we ask him can you just do 20 pounds can you do it that won't pay the bill he goes but you know what it does it turns their direction towards their debt and they're inclined to pay off their debt as soon as they give their first gift. Somebody else say well this is all I have start there but believe God for more and then have a dream the third one is a dream have a dream that God can do more than you could even think Ephesians 3 20 now to him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think okay that's the God we serve abundantly above what we ask or think we're saying God I have a dream and I want to hold on to this it'd be my greatest joy if I could ever give this amount of money like I just want to build your kingdom I don't want to live for just this earth I want to do more. Park was a young man in our youth group 14 years old 14 years old and he hears this he said to his mom and dad on the way out of church he goes I believe God has 500 in his hands that I don't have and I'm going to give it this year for spaces I'm going to do it and his mom and dad were like Park has like 50 in his bank like how's God going to do this that's what they thought Park prayed all year prayed God you have more in your hands I'm going to work my part but God you have more at the end of the year he didn't give 500 he actually gave 1200 because he believed that there is more in God's hands than was in him.
