“``Men, how many of us have been broken? Tired, worn down, fed up, laid off, lied on, fired for no reason, overlooked, undervalued, skipped over, stepped on, underpaid, overworked, and just plain done wrong? At some point, all of us have felt like pastor Thorn in the town. Some of us have been hurt, disrespected. You we've been knocked down, but not knocked down. We've been pressed on every side, but we're still standing. Why? Because we are more than conquerors through Jesus Christ. And when the world thought we were finished, Jonathan, god was still working, Veronica. He was putting us back together, mama. By the power of the holy spirit, making something more valuable out of what was broken. So I ask you men, if god can restore broken pieces into something more precious than before, why would we quit now? God bless you. God be with you. Glory to his mighty name.”

“when pottery was broken, I love this, it was repaired with gold. And in doing so, the broken piece became more valuable than the unbroken original piece. Lord, have mercy. Because god does his best work when we are broken. He restores what has been shattered and fills the cracks with his glory. My lord. And I can testify if it had not been for the lord on my side, well well should I be. So, as I go to my seat, I'm done. I'm done.”

“But can I go in a different direction? I've come to realize that good men do not fight for popularity, for acceptance, or for money. Good men fight for the faith. Oh, yeah. I like that. Y'all shoulda got happy on that. Good men fight for the faith. Let me be bold and transparent. I am convinced that the condition of America today reflects the churches. I'm talking about me too now. The churches failed to fully execute the mission Christ entrusted to us. Men, Amen. We must refocus, regroup, Mike, reload, recommit because now means now. If you're tired, he's your strength. If you're broken, he can fix you. If you're lost, I hear gotcha.”

“Is he good in your today? Yes. And will he be good in your tomorrow? Yes. Alright. You just passed that test. But see, god goodness doesn't shift with the calendar. That's right. So don't lose sleep over who sits in the White House or who might walk into the Governor's Mansion. The real question is this, do you know Jesus? Because I don't care who's in the White House, the courthouse, the State House, the songwriter already settled it for me. As long as I've got Jesus, everything is gonna be alright.”
