#ForgiveRelentlessly
“He said it's better to cut off a hand or gouge out an eye than to keep repeating the same sins. He said his followers should also be so forgiving of others that they lose count of the number of times they forgive the same person for the same offenses. He said that God will judge folks not on how holy they are, but on how well they treat the poor, the immigrant, the sick, the prisoners. He said the way we treat the least of these is the way we treat him. Jesus didn't allow his disciples to defend him with violence. Even in the sham trials against him, Jesus refused to defend himself against the accusations.”

#KingdomWithin
“Jesus' key teaching in Matthew is repent to the kingdom of God is at hand. Or maybe even a better translation, change your mindset. The kingdom of God is already here within your grasp, or even better is within you. The disciples had been taught that redemption could only be found through the temple or the synagogue, through rituals, sacrifices, and donations to the temple coffers. Jesus wanted them to understand that God welcomed and accepted them as they were. No spiritual gymnastics were required. No priests were required, and not even a temple was needed.”
