#HeldByGrace
“``But not the new covenant. It is not like the old. God does not expect you to perform and when you sin, you repent and you keep on going. And God will maintain his faithfulness to you because he's not only a covenant making God, he's a covenant keeping God. It does not depend upon you. It only depends upon Jesus. Praise be to God because whereas we are unable, he is able to save to the uttermost. And whereas we often lose our grip, Nothing can pry us from the clutches of his hands.”

#ChristDidItAll
“But the new covenant church, we we need to understand what a blessing and a grace the terms of it are. Here's the terms. Christ did it all for you. That's the terms. You you don't you don't hear God say, okay, come into covenant if you do this. There's no condition for our obedience to be in covenant with God. Now we hear the good news that God sent his son to perfectly obey the law on our behalf, to die and experience the covenant curse on our behalf. We believe that and now we're in covenant with God. It's not conditioned upon anything we do.”

#FleeToChrist
“And so the message for you is to flee to Christ. Come into covenant with God. There is a new and everlasting covenant which you can enjoy fellowship with your maker. He will be your God. You will be his people. Your sins will be forever forgotten, removed from you. You will be at peace. His spirit will be poured out upon you. You will have a family of believers to call your own. So flee to Christ and believe the same promise that all of our ancestors in the faith have believed.”

#NotSafeOutsideChrist
“If you were in here and you are outside of Christ, the message of this by Matthew to you is that you are not safe. You are not safe outside of covenant with God. You were born like all of us under the covenant curse of a covenant in shambles because of Adam's sin. The curse of sin and death which is upon us all, that is the estate into which you were born. And if that is the estate in which you remain, all you will ever know is sin, death and exile from the living God.”
