#CarryTheWitness
“That is what Mary carried out of the garden. That is what the women carried from the tomb, and that is what we are to carry into the world today. The proclamation doesn't require perfection. It doesn't require power. It doesn't even require certainty. It just takes showing up, bearing a witness, telling the truth of what we have seen. That is what the women of the tomb did. And because of them, we are here. Christ is risen. Christ is risen. Hallelujah.”

#FlipTheScript
“And what do the disciples do? They do not believe them. Luke tells us that their story seemed like nonsense. Does that sadly sound familiar? The world still finds ways to dismiss the voices it least expects to carry good news. But in the resurrection, God flips the script. The ones whose voices have been denied are the ones God entrusts with the gospel. The last are first. The dismissed are the bearers of good news.”
