36s
“``Our appetite for worship is really for us a meter that shows whether or not we are in good relationship with God. If you and I don't desire to be in his presence, if you and I are shocked by the worship of others, it's time for us to examine our hearts before him. And thirdly, I want you to see this. Genuine worship costs us something. Genuine worship costs us something.”
45s
“True worship pleases him because true worship is a decision of the will. I don't know exactly when Mary decided that she was gonna spill perfume and anoint Jesus' feet, but I do know is this, she made a decision and she followed through. And so I wanna say to all of us as a church family today, god calls us to look at worship not just as an hour on Sunday, but rather as a lifestyle of walking with him.”
43s
“It's a picture for us that life has a way of draining us, of sucking our strength out, of draining our spiritual energy and spiritual power. It has a way of wearing us down, but God has a way of restoring us, refilling us, renewing us when we worship him in spirit and in truth. The second thing I want you to see is their appetite for worship is our spiritual health gauge.”
52s
“And, you know, it seems like I read somewhere in scripture that there was this one who came at just the right time and was born to a virgin named Mary. And he wasn't didn't just come just at the right time, but he also lived just the right life. And one day, despite living a perfect and sinless life at the perfect time, he laid his life down when he was nailed to the cross. But he didn't stay there long because at just the right time, he came out of that tomb. Can I remind you that's not the end of the story? At just the right time he is coming again.”
