#GodAlwaysReliable
“Aren't you glad that God is a God who never puts us on hold? Aren't you glad that God is a God who is always 100% reliable? Because God is a God who is able to perfectly combine loving care, constant availability, and has the power and authority to act on things that he knows will be best for us. You see, when we know that someone is consistently reliable, when we know that there is genuine care, and this person is actually capable to do something, and it knows what it's best for us, no matter what situation, fear loses its grip and trust and confidence deepens in the heart.”

#ChildlikeTrust
“There was this little boy riding on a plane during severe turbulence. Everyone in that plane, the passengers were panicking, they were nervous, but somehow this little boy was so calm, he couldn't care less. He was just coloring and doing what he was doing. Finally, someone noticed that and he started to ask this kid, kid, are you okay? How come you're so calm? How come you didn't don't seem to care? The boy responded and said, oh, the pilot is my dad. And that changed everything.”

#MarkedSafeInChrist
“When Jesus came to this world, he died on that cross on our behalf. He made eternity possible, available, accessible when you and I put our faith in him. And because of Jesus, sin is defeated, death is conquered, eternity is secured. And when you and I have Jesus, indeed, you and I are marked safe.”
31s
#ConfidenceInSovereignty
“The turbulence didn't disappear, but confidence came from knowing who was in control. In the same way with you and I. Our life will have turbulences. Our life will have dangers, uncertainties, troubles, but our confidence comes from knowing who is sovereign and who is present with you and with me. Because remember, our sense of genuine safety and security comes from our nearness to God.”

#InvisibleProtection
“You know, I've come to realize that most of God's protection are actually invisible or unrealized. What do I mean by that? Most of the time, we only notice the dangers that we actually encounter. But have you realized perhaps there are more things that God have actually prevented that we just didn't notice because you and I never even felt it or even even realized. Think about the everyday battles in life. Think about the daily troubles that can happen in life.”

#TrustWithWisdom
“My point being is trusting God's protection comes with wisdom. Doesn't mean that you and I put ourselves in a in a troublesome situation and expect God to do something about it. Does that make sense? In fact, this verse actually, verses eleven and twelve were the verses that Satan actually used when he tempted Jesus. When he tempted Jesus and said, go jump and let the angels catch you. This was that very verse. What did Jesus said to him? Do not put the Lord your God to the test.”
27s
#GodPromisesHimself
“See, trusting God is very very different from testing God. The point of the psalm is not that no trouble will come or happen. That is not that God is going to give you all the superpowers to overcome danger. The point simply being is that when trouble comes, God will provide what he knows is best that you need. That's the fourth principle that we want to embrace for us to have that sense of safety and security.”
37s
#GodCaresAndProvides
“See, God is a God who does not merely promise outcomes, doesn't just merely promise safe conditions. He promises himself. The promise didn't say, you will never walk through trouble. The promise is, you will never walk through it alone. See, the world tells us that security is found in financial stability, educational achievement, business success, careful planning, and the list goes on. And these are good things. Don't get me wrong. Yet in the end, when you think about it, all of them will fall short because all of them do not last.”
