God has equipped every believer with unique weapons—perspective, potential, position, and most importantly, His own presence—to face and overcome the challenges before them. Instead of focusing on what you lack or comparing yourself to others, recognize that God’s presence on your side is the greatest advantage you could ever have. When you shift your mindset from defense to offense, you begin to see that God has already given you what you need to conquer the “Goliaths” in your life. Trust that with God on your side, you can achieve anything He calls you to do, no matter how insurmountable the obstacle may seem. [08:13]
1 Samuel 17:45-47 (ESV)
Then David said to the Philistine, “You come to me with a sword and with a spear and with a javelin, but I come to you in the name of the Lord of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied. This day the Lord will deliver you into my hand, and I will strike you down and cut off your head. And I will give the dead bodies of the host of the Philistines this day to the birds of the air and to the wild beasts of the earth, that all the earth may know that there is a God in Israel, and that all this assembly may know that the Lord saves not with sword and spear. For the battle is the Lord’s, and he will give you into our hand.”
Reflection: What is one area of your life where you’ve been focusing on what you lack instead of the weapons God has already given you? How can you step forward in faith, trusting that God’s presence is your greatest advantage today?
God calls His people to move with purpose and authority, not in anxious pacing but in determined marching. When you march—when you pound the ground in faith—you are marking your territory, declaring that what God has promised is already yours. Pounding is not about stressing or worrying, but about moving in unity, obedience, and boldness, shaking the very foundations of the obstacles before you. As you march, you are not only claiming ground but also preparing your heart and spirit for the blessing God has in store. [19:59]
Deuteronomy 11:24 (ESV)
Every place on which the sole of your foot treads shall be yours. Your territory shall be from the wilderness to the Lebanon and from the River, the river Euphrates, to the western sea.
Reflection: Where in your life have you been pacing in worry instead of marching in faith? What is one step you can take today to “pound the ground” and claim God’s promise over that area?
God sends advocates ahead of you—both in the spiritual realm and through spiritual leaders—so that the way is prepared before you even arrive. Just as the priests went before the people of Israel, Jesus Himself goes before you, interceding and making a way where there seems to be no way. When you understand the power of priesthood, you realize you are never alone; God has already worked out what you are about to walk into. Trust that Jesus is your advocate, and that spiritual leaders are praying and paving the way for your breakthrough. [33:49]
1 John 2:1-2 (ESV)
My little children, I am writing these things to you so that you may not sin. But if anyone does sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous. He is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the sins of the whole world.
Reflection: Who is someone you can pray for or ask to pray for you this week, trusting that God is sending advocates ahead of you? How can you intentionally invite Jesus to go before you in a specific situation?
Praise is not just a response to victory—it is a weapon that brings the walls down. When you lift your voice in unified, triumphant praise, you are declaring that God is fighting your battles and that the victory is already won. Sometimes, the breakthrough you need will only come when you choose to praise God in advance, even before you see the answer. Your praise not only impacts your life but also blesses everyone connected to you, as God moves on behalf of your family, friends, and community through your worship. [43:11]
Joshua 6:20 (ESV)
So the people shouted, and the trumpets were blown. As soon as the people heard the sound of the trumpet, the people shouted a great shout, and the wall fell down flat, so that the people went up into the city, every man straight before him, and they captured the city.
Reflection: What is one “wall” in your life that you need to praise God about today, even before you see it fall? How can you make praise your first response instead of your last resort?
God’s blessings and breakthroughs often require a step of obedience, even when the instructions seem unusual or the outcome is uncertain. The Israelites had to march, the priests had to go ahead, and everyone had to shout—all in obedience to God’s specific command. Sometimes, the next level of blessing is waiting on the other side of your willingness to do what God says, even if it doesn’t make sense to others. Trust that God’s ways are higher, and that your obedience is the key to unlocking what He has already prepared for you. [46:53]
Isaiah 1:19 (ESV)
If you are willing and obedient, you shall eat the good of the land.
Reflection: What is one thing God is asking you to do that you’ve been hesitant to obey? What would it look like to take that step in faith this week, trusting that God’s promise is on the other side?
Today’s focus is on the truth that God has given each of us weapons—spiritual tools and strategies—to overcome the walls and obstacles in our lives. Drawing from Joshua chapter 6, we see the Israelites standing before the formidable walls of Jericho, a city fortified with massive barriers that seemed impossible to penetrate. Yet, God’s instructions were not about conventional warfare, but about obedience, faith, and using the unique weapons He provided.
First, it’s important to recognize that the victories and blessings we experience are often built on the faithfulness and sacrifices of those who came before us—our parents, grandparents, and spiritual ancestors. But there comes a time when each of us must have our own encounter with God, our own testimony. God desires to show up in our lives just as He did for those before us, but often, there are “walls” that must come down before we can move into the next level of blessing.
God’s strategy for Jericho was unconventional. He called the people not to attack, but to march—pounding the ground in unity and faith. There’s a difference between pacing in anxiety and marching in obedience. Pacing is driven by worry and self-reliance, but marching is about moving forward in faith, marking territory, and declaring God’s promises. Sometimes, the people around us may not be marching to the same beat, and we must decide whether to bring them up to speed or move forward without them.
Another weapon is priesthood—intercession and spiritual leadership. The priests went ahead of the people, carrying the Ark, symbolizing God’s presence and advocacy. Jesus, our High Priest, goes before us, preparing the way and interceding on our behalf. We are called to trust that God has already been where we are going and to rely on the spiritual covering and prayers of those God has placed in our lives.
Finally, praise is a powerful weapon. The Israelites were instructed to shout—a shout of triumph and a battle cry—before the walls fell. Sometimes, the breakthrough comes not by our own strength, but by lifting up a unified praise, trusting God to do what only He can do. Our praise not only impacts us but also those connected to us—our families, our communities, and future generations.
God is calling us to stop living defensively and to move forward, using the weapons He has given: pounding (marching in faith), priesthood (spiritual advocacy), and praise (declaring victory). As we do, the walls in our lives—whether unforgiveness, debt, pride, or fear—will come down, and we will step into the blessings God has prepared for us.

Joshua 6:1-7 (ESV) — Now Jericho was shut up inside and outside because of the people of Israel. None went out, and none came in. And the Lord said to Joshua, “See, I have given Jericho into your hand, with its king and mighty men of valor. You shall march around the city, all the men of war going around the city once. Thus shall you do for six days. Seven priests shall bear seven trumpets of rams' horns before the ark. On the seventh day you shall march around the city seven times, and the priests shall blow the trumpets. And when they make a long blast with the ram's horn, when you hear the sound of the trumpet, then all the people shall shout with a great shout, and the wall of the city will fall down flat, and the people shall go up, everyone straight before him.” So Joshua the son of Nun called the priests and said to them, “Take up the ark of the covenant and let seven priests bear seven trumpets of rams' horns before the ark of the Lord.” And he said to the people, “Go forward. March around the city and let the armed men pass on before the ark of the Lord.”
What God has placed on the inside of you, all of the untapped resources, those are potentials, aka for your weapons to be utilized to do the things that God has called you to do. The things that you went through in the past is your weapon. And dear brothers and sisters, let's keep going. And point number three we talked about, this is position is your weapon. The position, where you are situated in life, no matter whether you agree with it or not, is your weapon. [00:06:06] (35 seconds) #UntappedPotentialWeapons
There are walls that have to come down in order for God, dear brothers and sisters, to allow you to go deeper in the blessings that he has for you. Because the wall, the city of Jericho was for their benefit. And there are things on the other side of the walls, dear brothers and sisters, that you are facing that are for your benefit. But in order to do that, you have to use the weapons that God has given you. [00:15:59] (34 seconds) #BreakDownWallsForBlessings
Priesthood is saying to God to send Jesus to do something before you arrive. How do I know? Because some of you have had people come up to you and say, you was on my mind. And because you are on my mind, I am doing this because you was in my spirit. And because you was in my spirit, that meant Jesus went ahead of you getting there to where all you got to do, come on, is collect the blessing. [00:32:10] (31 seconds) #FaithWhenAllElseFails
When you understand you got a priest that's sitting high advocating for you, even though you don't know what's around the corner, he is saying, I will be there so that when you get there, everything will be all right. Priesthood is your weapon. That's why I said, when I first got up, you got to thank God for Jesus because you are understanding that he already sent somebody ahead of the thing. [00:32:53] (27 seconds) #PraiseBringsVictory
Praise is your weapon. Yeah, I'm gonna lose some of y'all right here. Yeah, that's all right Demetri we'll get them back though but we might lose them for because it says here so it shall it shall come to pass it shall come to pass it shall come to pass when they make a long blast with the ram's horn and when you hear the sound of the trumpet that all the people shall shout and with a great shout then the wall of the city will fall down flat and the people shall go up and every man straight before him. [00:38:57] (39 seconds) #IntercessoryPraisePower
The wall wasn't just for one person. It was for everybody that was trying to move ahead and collect the blessing. Sometimes I ain't shouting for what my wife need and I ain't shouting for what I need. Sometimes I'm shouting for my son, my niece, my God kids, my grandbaby, because I recognize there's something that all of us need in order to accomplish. [00:44:59] (21 seconds) #UseGodsWeapons
The only reason why some of your family members, your friends and all this stuff is safe is because of you. Because you come in here praising and shouting and interceding on their behalf. Lord, keep them straight. Lord, make this happen. When we come up here and praise this Sunday morning, it ain't just about what we need. It's what everybody that is connected to me who ain't even watching this and if they ain't connected to me that will come down the line, they'll benefit from my praise. [00:45:23] (30 seconds)
God has so much more for you. But you got to use your weapons. Use the weapons that God has given you. Listen, use the weapons. Praise is your weapon. Priesthood is your weapon. Some of you got to say, all right, God, I need you to show up before I get down. I need you to move on my behalf. But empowering is your weapon. [00:48:17] (25 seconds)
