53s
“And when it comes to God's grace, often we honestly can say, I don't know. I don't know its depth. I don't know why. I don't know how powerful and encompassing it is. But I do know this. It is sufficient. I do know this. It is sufficient. When we don't know, know this, it is sufficient. You know, God's faithful action and presence in our life has been sufficient up to this point. It is enough for today. It is the cause of our hope for tomorrow. You will have what you need when you need it. To God be the glory now always.”
54s
“You see, friends, the people in the crowd in Exodus, they need a history lesson. It was God. God could rightly say it was me. It was God that has brought you safe thus far. It is God that will lead you home. What you thought was home is not even home. God says now we're heading home. Sometimes we pray, Lord, we believe. Help our unbelief. You know, friends, this story, this account, God's holy word in scripture, this account of God's deliverance and rescue of the people, it does not work because of the people. It does not work because the people are so good and holy and faithful. It works because of God.”
47s
“Another way to consider God's revelation about who God is is to think about the past, the present, and the future. God was, God is, and God will be. God might just as easily say to Moses, I was who I was, I am who I am, and I will be who I will be. And you will have what you need when you need it. Whatever you need, Moses, whenever it is, I will be sufficient, and I will still be the Lord your God.”
